I don't think you know much of boxing because you're not smart enough to know that the mayweather that whoops shane's ass wasn't a prime mayweather. Mayweather at 130 and 135 would ***en destroy mosley. FLoyd is probably the best 130, 135 lber in the history of the sport. Go watch some tapes and educate yourself dumb***.
he's the best lightweight in the history of the sport? he had 4 fights there and in 3 of them struggled mightily. he certainly didn't establish himself as a dominate lightweight and he certainly doesn't have the resume to be the best lightweight ever. but he did destroy that bum phillip ndou so maybe you are right. cotto is also the best 154 pounder in history cause he destroyed yuri foreman. quick go on vacation cotto so you don't have to fight anyone else and you can retain your greatest of all time 154 title!

Mosley struggles with certain styles and he always did even in his PRIME, Mosley was always vulnerable to Pure BOXERS even in his PRIME, that is why if you look at Mosley's boxrec he took on mostly Mexican fighters because Mosley is a BEAST against fighters that fight coming forward, that style is one-dimensional and extremely predictable after the first 3-4 Rounds, any other style that is not as predictable, he struggles with them, he was out-boxed by Winky and Vernon Forrest TWICE

but you ****** ignorant wannabe boxing fans just refuse to believe that "Styles Make Fights"...NOT who hits harder or who is faster or who has the stronger chin

many of you go by what SOMEONE TOLD YOU, people picked Mosley over Mayweather SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY DON'T LIKE FLOYD...Not because they thought Mosley really had a chance, based on style I knew Mosley would have problems with Mayweather's style and him in his PRIME fighting a younger Floyd, it would have been even WORSE IMO

Mosley didn't do a thing at LW, hardly any notable wins. I wouldn't brag about his resume at 135. You could say he was a beast at that weight but look at who he faught.

once again nobody wanted to fight him.Let me ask you another question when Mosley was at 135lb who else was fighting there..Hell I did not even hear floyd mention his name till the fight with Hoya was being talk about.I would say Duran is the best lightweight but I just feel what Mosley did at 135lb was solid is all...

Tell your boy to stop ducking he might be the greatest if he will show his skills to formidable opponents.

Sadly, he ain't he is on vacation again lol. For the record I admire Floyd's skill as a boxer. It's his ducking that leaves a distasteful after taste in my pallet.

And for the record the poll is close =)
Yawn. I make a post that disagrees with yours, and suddenly he's "my boy".

Floyd wanted the fight with Shane but he fought Oscar instead, only an idiot would fight Floyd over Oscar at that particular time, Oscar was a much bigger name and a much bigger payday, neither of them ducked each other.

As for the fight the key reason Shane lost was the fact he has no defense, anyone with that little defense struggles with Mayweather or any accurate puncher, although the fight would be a little more competitive it would still be a dominant descion victory for Mayweather i believe.

Mosley`s biggest win at 135 was against Philip Holiday and thats about it really.
