When Shane rocked Floyd I believe Shane would have had him out of there in that round.

As an unbiased Mosley fan, I have to say Floyd.

Prime for prime, Mosley more than likely would have dropped Money in the 2nd and he would been all over Floyd for at least the next 2 rounds. However, Mayweather is too smart and he's brilliant at making adjustments. Mosley would have been quicker and in better shape, so the fight would have been more fast paced and competitive.

I think Mayweather counters Mosley all night like he did in the actually fight, but Mosley would be putting the pressure on, taking more chances, and actually landing some hard shots on occasion.

Fight would have been closer and more exciting, but I see Floyd winning with a score around a 115-112 or similar to that.

I suppose you could say Shane 'ducked' Floyd in 99 to fight Oscar but i dont blame him i think most guys would have done the same thing. In 2006 Floyd wanted the fight and Shane didnt follow through but i dont think either of them were afraid of each other.

Mosley was a beast at LW. Just ****** that he had a local CA promoter for his first 20 something fights. Once he got with Cedric Kushner. He gave Mosley the fights. Fighters like Stevie Johnston didn't want Mosley. Ivan Robinson backed out of 2 fights. Israel Cardona backed out of a fight with Mosley. Cesar Bazan backed out of Mosley fight. All ranked fighters at 135 when Mosley was a LW.

Duran and Whitaker were better LW's. But Mosley was a beast to. To be honest I don't think a lot of people seen Mosley at LW. After the Forrest L. Mosley wasn't the same fighter anymore. You could tell that his confidence was gone.

Floyd was a beast to at the lowers weights. The fight would've better than the one last May. A confident Mosley vs a confident Floyd. That's a great fight

Mayweather is a counter-puncher and traditionally a slow starter. He got caught and made adjustments. He took Moselys weapons away.

People are always quick to blame age for Mosely's performance or indeed any older fighter who gets beat.

The biggest problem is that Mosely ran out of ideas. Every time he tried to setup his shots after the first few rounds he got tagged.

A younger and more active Mosely would only have gotten countered more often. If Mayweather makes it through the first 3 rounds at any age he wins because he had Shane figured out.

And I dont see any reason why he doesn't. A younger Shane would have finished Floyd in the 2nd? Why? Because you want it to be true? Why did he not at 38? Cos he was too tired in the 2nd round? Bull****. He doesnt hit as hard at 38? Bull****.

Floyd doesnt do panic. He even hit Mosely with a couple of hard shots at the end of the 2nd.

Is that because a younger Shane had more power?
