I won't disagree there man, Mosley was a straight beat at 135 pounds. But you also have to understand that the opposition he faced there wasn't all that. He would be able to hang against the best LWs in history but no offense, he'll never be looked at as one of the best LWs. No different from Floyd at 140, personally I think Mayweather was at his best at 140; more complete, but Mayweather didn't beat anyone at 140.

All ranked fighters at 135 when Mosley was a LW.

Duran and Whitaker were better LW's. But Mosley was a beast to. To be honest I don't think a lot of people seen Mosley at LW. After the Forrest L. Mosley wasn't the same fighter anymore. You could tell that his confidence was gone.

Floyd was a beast to at the lowers weights. The fight would've better than the one last May. A confident Mosley vs a confident Floyd. That's a great fight
Couldn't have said it better, good post.

Floyd is not in his prime anymore? The excuse are rolling in already. Ok, fair enough. Pacqauio was in his prime at 28 against DLH. It's all been downhill since then.

You have said this....but you haven't said HOW?

Floyd was buckled and regained compusure immediately. He never stopped defending, he never lost his wits.

It would have gone the same way even if Shane was 25.

I'm not a floyd fan but you are not analyzing boxing.

I say.. a well written thread coz until now it's almost even.. People see what mosely can do to Floyd. One punch is all it takes to turn the tide. And a 38 year old Mosely got him good what about a faster stronger Mosely. Lights out Floyd.

That 30 seconds Floyd was holding and super dazed..He should have pushed him away and finished the job. End of story. A 33 year old Mosely with stamina could have done that easy. All it takes is a push then burn him while Floyd is dazed. It ain't rocket science. Floyd got rocked. You guys chime he was able to recover. Yup Floyd did. But that precious 30 seconds he was hanging for dear life. If Mosely pushed him away and flurried. It's over man. No B.S.

how many superfeatherweights or lightweights who have been pros for 14 years are still in their prime?

small guys age faster. If you look at history, sfw's are typically done by 33/34
