This SOUNDS like it was on some serious Hagler/Leonard ****. Where Hopkins landed the much better punches and actually did damage to the other fighter, and Taylor just threw meaningless shots that looked pretty, but didn't land, to rack up points. It also sounds like there was only one guy who was showing the effects of the punches, that guy being Taylor. I still haven't seen the fight so I can't really say much yet. If Taylor really did do enough though, much respect to him for beating a monster in Hopkins.

if you dont think Taylor ever got hurt you need to watch the fight again...

I mean even Taylor admitted to being tired in the end... obviously he's not gonna admit to being hurt.. but he was definately clinching because he was hurt.

With that in mind i think it was a combination of both being tired and being hurt... (i mean you gotta give the KID some credit for bleeding and dealing with it mentally... )

Taylor impressed me and he did his thing in the first few rounds, but Hopkins, in my opinion, was the real winner of the fight. I do not agree with the decision but watever.

If TRINIDAD won the decision against DE LA HOYA (which I thought was AT LEAST A DRAW) I DON'T SEE HOW IN THE HELL Bernard LOST this fight!!! BULL****!!!! He whooped that ass in the last rounds and deserves the decision, TAYLOR DID NOT TAKE Hopkin's belts, they were given to him....for a much more profitable REMATCH....END OF STORY.

Your a ****in joke kid. Listen here, i dont care who you are, we all know that neither one of them kicked the **** out of the other one. So i wont be as nice as everyone else when i say "Shut the **** up" and Go to bed. We dont want to hear some lame ass bull**** on here. We all know that you would, if given the chance, would suck on Bernards right nutt. But unfornuatly he is not available right now. He is busy making excuses. Dont deny the obvious. I am a straight up Taylor Fan. Have been since the first time i saw him. But, even i agree that Taylor was lucky this fight wasnt 15 rounds of throw down. Because if it was, it might have been a different story. But guess what?

It wasnt. It was 12. And every veteran fighter knows that if you wait to late to start you gameplan in a fight, you are the one left making excuses. I would have more respect for Hopkins fans if they just admitted that Hopkins lost, and he lost because of his own doing, not because the judges robbed him. Admit it, deal with it, get over it, train for it, regain it. My advice to Hopkins

He lost according to me and most important of all to the judges. Taylor was the fighter that was more aggresive, he took the fight too Hopkins.
I can understand why poeople that didnt keep score thought that hopkins won because he did more damage, but he never really folllowed up on anything he did. At the end he was the one being more aggresive. But when i added up my score i had it 117-112
