From what I've heard...it doesn't sound like any kind of "robbery" took place.
Sounds like one guy edged the other, no matter who you think had the edge...

I'll watch it this Saturday night.

For not seeing the fight your analysis is dead on, I will be curious for your take after you have seen it.

Neither Taylor or Hopkins could ***** if they lost, a tale of two fights.

Making it 7-5 or 6-6, even up to a point early on Merchant even had one round a draw.

No reason to use obscenities my friend as I am not making excuses. It was close but Hopkins stole the fight by 1 round.
Very true, In my defense I was blasted that night after the fight and if you were too see my previous posts I don't usually post using obscenities. My apologies.

I still don't agree with your judging. IMO, Hopkins only won about 4 rds but, this argument can go on forever.

We watched a PRIME Taylor in the fight of his life. He knew what he needed to do, so he went for it. He fought the fight of his life and there's no "adjustments" possible for the rematch. What we saw Taylor dish-out is exactly wat he'll bring next time.

The one possible difference is Taylor might be a bit more reserved, so that he'll have more late energy, but that approach will be Nard's trap. If I'm wrong, then we'll see Taylor come out strong again, but there's no way he's gonna' be stronger next time around, it'll just be more of the same OR Taylor brings less.

Hopkins definitely took over the fight late. Taylor came on strong in the beginning but hop had him in the later rounds. I had teh fight 115 hop and 113 taylor or at best a draw but I didnt have Taylor winning. but cant cry over spilled milk they will rematch eventually.

But taylor got the win and you cannot take that from him. I definitely was wrong and would have lost if any of you had bet me.
My hat goes off to the kid he got the win so right now he is the champ, my only gripe is with his management for guiding his career in the most cautious way possible. allowing him to feast on retired middleweights and blown up junior middle and welterweights. the re-match will probably play out differently

If Hops was robbed then his people and the Xecutioner was definitely in on it, I think the fight was fixed period. Think about it guys which would the mainstream boxing fans see Hops fight next, Wright and his boring way of fighting or Tarver who's still starving for people to watch him or the young guy that beat the old bastard that had a history w/ the young fighter's promoter, people in general would be more intrigued w/ the drama of old versus young plus ex-con vs. white collar this type of story doesn't get old. Lets stop being gullible, boxing's biggest way of generating money are through these means. Fixed fights happen more often than we think, its just way too easy. Promoters have the "formula" down why change it, the fans seem to bite every single time(myself included).

Actually...."fixed" fights happen LESS than the general public believes.

Too many people don't understand the sport enough to be able to fathom certain results, like this fight.

Most people agree Meldrick Taylor was robbed against chavez in there first fight. HOPKINS/TAYLOR was a Meldrick Taylor/Ceasar Chavez fight except Jermain Taylor took less punishment.
