Hopkins started his offense too late in the fight. I wish he would just admit that he underestimated Taylor's stamina late in the fight. It will be different in the rematch, though. Hopkins should know Taylors weaknesses now and catch him with shots earlier in the next fight. Hop's just plain screwed up tonight.

The main difference in the rematch is that Hopkins clearly had Taylor hurt on a couple occasions toward the end of the fight. Taylor was flashy early but didn't land a real solid blow. Hopkins lost the earlier rounds Taylor didn't win them. Bernard just started too late.

He clearly lost 8 rounds out of 12, he was holding & hitting, he was dirty. Like I said anyone thinks Hopkins won the fight is a ****** & a crackhead. This was no Hagler & Sugar Ray, Hagler clearly won that fight. I think all the Hopkins asslickers should stop making excuses. Dude can you say anything more intelligent than "crackhead". Jermaine was just as shocked that he won as Bernard was that he lost. The fight was close enough to go either way, even Stevie Wonder can see that.

when you score a fight you have to throw away the favoritism you have towards a fight i am a huge fan of both but when fight time came i bacame impartial and scored not with who was my favroite but by who won the rounds if you do that the score had to be 115-113 taylor and that is my oppinion who one i also coulda seen a draw but people sayin gthis guy whooped that guy or vise versa are just speaking from favoritism.
