I thought he landed the better shots, showed great D, and took over the fight late.

Not the worst decesion, but I saw it the other way.

It could have definately went either way but I just got this gut feeling Hopkins was robbed.

Hopkins landed more punches and harder punches and beat him clearly in the later rounds.

Close but I feel Hopkins did way more than enough.

He picked his shots in the early rounds and let Jermain set the pace to tire himself out and then Hopkins had taken over in the late rounds.

There is no way that he was robbed. Hopkins was behind 5-1 after the first 6 rounds so I don't know what you are talking about.

i dont think so at all. At one point i had jermain up 7-1, and hops won the rest of the rounds. taylor would have been robbed had he won. Hopkins screwed himself by fighting at such a snails pace.

Hopkins took a round early and the 5th and from the 8th on stole the fight.


It was very close like I said and I am not hating but I thought Taylor might have been active but Hopkins was conservative and that is his style and he landed the much better shots. Taylor looked sloppy and tired.

Taylor was ahead 5-1 after 6. I gave him 2 more rounds. Hopkins slept for most of the fight. Then again the challanger has to start the agression. It was a close fight thats why I went with a DRAW with vBookie, but I wont my 7 million points in any case so I'm happy.

Hopkins won that fight 116-112. When you throw punches you have to land them the way Hopkins countered Taylor all night. I had it just like Duane Ford with 4 rounds a piece after 8.

I wouldn't use the term robbery, but I thought Hopkins had the edge, showed great defense and ring savvy, and took over late in the fight.

What fight were you watching? Are you high......he got his butt kickicked in the first 5 rounds. And then won the last few. You need to dominate, not just show up.
