did hatton fight paulie, holt, torres, reese, mighty mike or junior witter?the only 1 he fought was paulie and that was about a year or so after he got knocked out by floyd.when miguel and floyd were at 140 did ricky fight them?

Same Hatton that fights at 140 shows up at 147. The guys at 147 are the difference. He couldn't bully Callazo. It had everything to do with the fighter and Not the weight. he would have problems with a big 140lber that was lefty and slick with enough pop to get his attention.

Why is Hatton's Malignaggi win being overrated? I don't find the win THAT impressive, because Paulie has decent skills but fails when it comes to the top guys. Hatton SHOULD be beating Malignaggi comfortably.

I think the Hatton that Mayweather fought seemed more determined and focused than ever and I think he made the mistake in both fights of believing he was stronger than both and that served him worse against Pac who loves a good tear up.

I'd say Mayweather beat a better Hatton, both ended it beautifully but you can't beat a one punch murder like Pac put on him, I swear dude died when Pac caught him...stunning punch.

Have to say Pac because Hatton didn't really have the power to beat anyone at 147 because at that weight he had average to below average power. He couldn't even hurt collazo. While at 140 his power was at the very least average and he had a dominant 140 reign. Floyd's win was good but Pacquiao's was great! Floyd vs Hatton at 140 would have been interesting with a ref other than cortez. i think floyd wins 116-112 but i think hatton would have had his little good moments.

How the hell can 25 people on here believe Manny faught the better version of Hatton. Did Hatton improve after one or two fights? (I think Callazo), who shook him a few times.

You need to take ya head outta Pacs ass!

There are fighters who can own a division, but be out of it in the next, look at Castillo, or soon to be Pavlik as an example man.
This. I am not a fan of Hatton, but he was the man at 140.

there is really no difference between the two..
Hatton pre-Mayweather struggled against Collazo and Urango.
Had an easy fight with an old worn Castillo.

Hatton struggled with Lazcano and made easy work of Malignaggi pre-Pacquiao fight.
He had only lost that one fight to Mayweather and was undefeated at the weight class he was fighting Pacquiao at and didn't have to move up like he did for Mayweather.

Anyone who tells you that there's a big difference is nothing but a nutthugger.

that's the dumbest **** I hear on here all the time.. It usually comes from ******s.

In that case.. Mayweather should get no credit for De La Hoya since he was sloppy seconds. Having been beat by Tito, Nard, and Mosley previously.

He should get no credit for Mosley since Vernon Forrest, Winky and Cotto got to him before he did.

Juan Manuel Marquez was Pacquiao's sloppy seconds..

                      Zab Judah was Tszyu's..

                      so on and so forth..
