    larry, btw,

i read in DLH's book that he said floyd has no power in his punches and he has no idea how he was able to knock out hatton. how do you feel about that??
I wouldn't bet on what Oscar says, hes just lying like always. A lot of other past opponents would tell you his power is deceiving and good. Anyways Floyd ko'd Hatton in 10 at welterweight but Hatton was undefeated. Pac ko'd Hatton in 2 at 140 Hattons best weight class where he had not been beaten. Both are great wins. Floyd still beat the better version since Hatton had not tasted defeat, especially by knockout when he fought Floyd.

This is what im not understanding. Does beating hatton when he was undefeated means he beat a bettter version?

So once youve been counted out to 10, it is proven you will be a lesser boxer from then onwards? If thats the case Hatton might should have retired. Why bother try improving himself, by training under Senior mayweather? Or people would be better off not boxing people who have previously been knocked out, because you wont get any credit. Pac shouldnt have fought Hatton.

floyd beat him 1st thats all. i mean, hatton was still the same dude 2 me after the floyd fight. i mean, mayweather didnt punish him 2 the point that he did permanent damage 2 the man.

Exactly. PBF and his fans can boast that PBF beat him first. And thats a good achievement. To have given Hatton his first proffesional loss.
But should leave it at that. And not try discredit the fact that pac beat hatton faster and try to justify the reasons why Pac beat him faster.
He just did. Leave it at that they should.

I'm thinking, with all the bias here, there should be another column that states, are you a Floyd fan or hater, or Pac fan or hater or none of the above. I'm sure that people can lie but one can easily call the liars out, if they wish to.

Boxing has weight classes for something. Hatton was undefeated at 140 moving up to Floyd comfort zone 147. If Floyd who's the one move down to Hatton comfort zone then Floyd beat the best of Hatton. Pac Fought Hatton where he was undefeated in his best weight 140 besides Pac moving down to Hatton comfort zone. Remember Pac last fight he fought Oscar at 147 moving down to 140 Hatton's best weight say a lot of things of his courage.

Same old Hatton in both fights, just a come forward volume puncher who block punches with his face. He had a good career for what ability he had, that is if he is actually done.

Hard to tell, Hatton gave Mayweather fits but Manny literally destroyed Hatton. Based on that one might assume Mayweather because Hatton looked better but it could just be the difference in the skill level between Mayweather and Pacquiao.
