Collins did everything he could, he went to Jones Jr's press conferences and called him a coward and a yellow dog etc, he got into the ring after Jones Jr's fights and challenged him live on national TV.. this went on for three years until Collins finally gave up and called it a day because Jones Jr just would not fight him.
Collins was making a comeback a few years after he'd retired, he got into training camp with Freddie Roach again (who really believed that Collins would beat Jones Jr) and started preparing for Jones Jr.. but unfortunately Collins 'blacked out' in sparring and was rushed to hospital, so he didn't make a return afterall.
But for years in the mid-90's Jones Jr was avoiding Collins.
ok, so ur saying roy jones suck cuz he didn't fight collins and collins didnt fight him?
So many good fighters in the history of boxing...Roy is my most favorite of all time. I have his whole career on DVD, met him at KFC last year. He's a nice guy. Where would I rank him all time?
15-20...
Robinson, Ali, Whitaker, Leonard, Conn, Moore, Hagler, Hearns, Monzon, Pep...hell there's so many awesome fighters that I don't even know much about. I put Roy top 15 probably and he could beat anyone on that list, even Ali, if they weighed the same naturally. They don't weigh the same however, but you get my jist.
Roy has NO business being ranked at middleweight. He fought 35 of his fifty fights above the 160 pound limit. His ranking, like Moore, Conn and Charles, comes most naturally at light heavyweight where I have him near the bottom of the top ten. All-time...all fighters ever...not even top twenty.

Agreed. Anyone who puts Jones in a top 10 all-time list needs to hit the history books and watch some boxing film.
I can see the arguments for putting him in a top 10 light-heavyweight list or super-middleweight list, but there are no good arguments for ranking him overall in the top 20 all time.
Somewhere in the top 30-50 is probably about right.
I really don't care what anyone says Roy jones is and was one of the best skilled boxers any of us will ever see in our lifetime. And as for where i'd rank him I'd put him about 8th on my top 10 list.

here's a good arguement he has what 7 or 8 title in 6 different weight classes all the way from Welterweight TO Heavyweight. Name
some other fighters in the last 100 years to do that.

It's easy at the top level to look quick, classy, powerfull and cute when you're fighting mediocre opposition.
JUYJUY maybe a little rude, or heavy when explaining RJJ's career... But you shouldn't knock him, because everything he's saying is FACT!
RJJ WAS a fight ducker... He did shy away from any dangerous challenge...
RJJ was undoubtably a great talent... But my opinion is, we'll never know how good he could have been because he was scared to challenge the best in each division.
And the saddest thing is... If he'd have had the courage to fight the best, he probably would have beaten them!
But because he didn't... His so called "legacy" is tarnished.
