Cosign, Bute has better skills than Martinez he might not be as fast but he's close and dude has good, accurate power, on top of that a southpaw. I could see Bute knocking Pavlik out.

I don't know about AA he's got a rock hard chin and great defense it would be more of a question if Pavlik could take AA's power not the other way around dude hits harder than anybody at 160-175. He also has underappreciated hand speed. I agree about guys like Kessler and Froch he could do well against both of them they are pretty much straight up fighters with unimpressive speed. Kelly is an A-/B+ dude for sure he shouldn't be counted out at 168 he can punch and although he's slow he has pretty solid technique not much variety but he's solid technically.

WOW.... whats the point of that fight? im not writing off pavlik, but bute is WAAAAY too polished a fighter for pavlik.... HBO loves putting pavlik on. check the expiration date dammit. LOL

What other choice does HBO have anyone with a name is already on Showtime at 168. Pavlik is the best option at this point unless they're somehow able to get Dawson and Bute to meet at a catchweight.

I don't see the point in this. Bute should fight Williams or Martinez. Moby has been exposed twice now, Bute will school him worse then B-Hop did.

Martinez is hoping for a fight with Floyd at 154, or defend his MW titles. Williams is hoping to fight Floyd or Pac at 147. Neither is looking to move up to a division where they both get slaughtered.

Bute's options are slim while he waits on the super 6 winner and Pavlik can't make MW anymore. Makes sense, except that Kelly can't compete at SMW these days and there's at least a half dozen guys that will beat him, Bute being one of them. Kelly probably should try and beef up to LHW, at least he has a chance of being the 3rd or 4th best guy there.
