Wow Pavliks a fool if he takes this.

However he does have the power to stop Bute.

Someone really has it in for Pavlik! No way can he win this fight...If he is having trouble making 160,then I don't think he will be able to make 167 either.To make matters worst,the SMW division is filled with far more talent than 160.
I believe that he was a bit drained for the Martinez fight,but he mainly had problems with guys that know how to be evasive.This is the wrong fight for him-he should try to fight a few bums,then fight someone that has no movement like Froch and Abraham.Even then,it is going to be a tough fight as they will handle Kelly's power easier than the 160 lb guys did.

Bute is overrated because he's been overprotected thus far. Let's not forget this guy basically was knocked out by Andrade. That being said, he SHOULD handle Pavlik pretty easily. There are guys @68 who Pavlik has ZERO chance of beating, but Bute is not one of them.

I am suprised Pavlik would want into another big fight with out a few tune ups. That is not a sucessful idea and inactivity has beeen his worst enemy. If he does jump into this fight without working his way back I am sure he will lose. He will be another name on Bute's record.

Pavlik is being used as an opponent with a name to raise Butes profile. Terrible fight for kelly, and hes said repeatedly that he doesnt want to go to SMW. I hope pavlik refuses this and boxes williams or martinez again after a tune-up

LOVE this fight.

bute is solid, but no where near as fast and athletic as martinez.

pavlik wont be starving himself to make weight.

5 lbs can be a HUGE difference nutritionally.

pavlik needs to learn how NOT to chase a guy into bad angles and instead put

efficient pressure while getting into adequate position.

bute is very good, but you never know, pavlik has a good reach, good jab and

excellent power. would love to see pavlik with a new coach, but he feels he

too loyal to do that

i think he puts froch into a hospital for months, knocks AA out, yes AA does not have the punch output to deal with pavlik of pavliks power in any way,

has a decent shot against bute.

I always thought Pavlik had accumulation power rather than one punch power . He doesnt hit a guy with a single shot that drops him usually.
This is a nightmare for Pavlik. Bute is going to destroy him if they fight.
Bute can be evasive and has excellent power.
