At this point, I definitely would have to favor Bute over Pavlik, but I could see Pavlik maybe having success against Bute if Bute ran out of gas. And Kelly better get a damn cut man.

Some people on here are automatically totally counting Pavlik out of this fight, but here is the thing. Every decent fighter that Bute has fought except for Andrade has been destroyed by Pavlik. Those guys are Zuniga and Miranda. Pavlik had to go life and death with them though, but that's when you know a guy hasn't fought anybody good when the best opponents he beat were already handled by Pavlik.

Abraham would destroy Pavlik. You can't stand in front of AA. Period. Anybody that does so will get put to sleep, I can assure you of that. The way to beat AA is with constant movement and workrate, as Dirrell demonstrated. If you take out the movement you get countered with those deathblow 3-4's all night. No contest there.

Kessler, Abraham, Dirrell, and Ward beat Pavlik 100% of the time. Bute hasn't fought anybody worth a ****, but he has the skills to handle Pavlik. I'm not fully buying the excuses from his stans either. He got KO'd by Andrade and caught a lucky break. Simple as that.

Well, the problem with that is andrade beats pav and that would eliminate any chance at pav/bute on hbo,..u got to have a scrub to step In first then get at the top 10 at '68 , or if not maybe bika.
