bute will knock kelly's pavlik ass out..........lol

kelly needs moves his weak ass to cruiser or light heavy where he will have a better chance of winning. he needs to fight those bigger lumbering guys like himself that comes straight at him. he has the size to put on 175 to 195. he walking around according to articles at 180-185.

He also has underappreciated hand speed. I agree about guys like Kessler and Froch he could do well against both of them they are pretty much straight up fighters with unimpressive speed. Kelly is an A-/B+ dude for sure he shouldn't be counted out at 168 he can punch and although he's slow he has pretty solid technique not much variety but he's solid technically.
AA got battered, knocked down, stunned at will by dirrel.

sure dirrel is quicker and more agile than pavlik but doesnt have the power pavlik does, dirrel has good buzz on his punches buy pavlik is a powerful puncher.

pavlik looks more slow than he is slow because he is so long.

martinez made pwill look slow at times, especially throwing the same combinations at him for rounds without pwill be able to adjust.
lead, left to body and right hook up top

i think bute is solid, i like him, but honestly what elite fighter has he faced?

and he did lose to andrade in their first match, even though the ref screwed that up he should have lost.

he looked excellent in the rematch but look what shane did to a chin first margacheato.

miranda has no technical skills or fundamentals, he is a good fighter far past his prime in the bute fight.

like i stated, i like bute, but you cant give him credit yet because he hasnt fought elite competition.

as far as AA, he has easily been exposed by dirrel and if he didnt cheat probably would have gotten knocked out eventually.

OK, so let me ask you a question. What elite left handed boxers with power did Pavlik beat?

I'd say that at 168 Bute has a better track record vs punchers than Pavlik has against lefties boxers.

You sir just wasted a whole bunch of breath.

Care to place a friendly on the Bute-Pavlik fight if it happens?

I just don't think Pavlik would land enough on Abraham. Dirrel fought a masterful fight he did everything right against AA and he's incredibly atheletic (quick hands and feet), if he would've fought Froch with the same intensity he knocks him out. I don't think you can use that fight to compare how Pavlik would do against AA, Abraham would see everything coming from Pavlik and although Pavlik is more active there is plenty of oppurtunities to counter him with something huge. Trust me Bute is only going to get better Pavlik has peaked. The adjustment Bute made from the two Andrade fights was awesome. Bad comparison to the Mosley Margarito BTW he got beat down round after round Bute landed two monster shots and cracked the chin and broke down the body of a seemingly iron chinned dude.

I guess I was thinking your post as it relates to the thread topic. Bute has shown he has more than enough to handle pavlik at 168.

Any ideas on how to wager real money then?

Bute's options are slim while he waits on the super 6 winner and Pavlik can't make MW anymore. Makes sense, except that Kelly can't compete at SMW these days and there's at least a half dozen guys that will beat him, Bute being one of them. Kelly probably should try and beef up to LHW, at least he has a chance of being the 3rd or 4th best guy there.
There are more viable options for Bute then to go for Pavlik, which will prove nothing in beating him. I'd rather Bute tries unifying against Stieglitz during the super six, or perhaps facing Diaconu, which would be huge domestically in Romania. Plus, a couple names will eventually drop from the super-six which could lead to him facing the likes of Froch, Green, Dirrell etc...

All in all, i think Pavlik is getting more then he deserves at this stage.

Did you not see the article where Pavlik's people said he's not fighting Martinez in a rematch and he's done with the middleweight divison???

I can't stand Pavlik, mostly because of the hype, but it would be amusing if he somehow knocked Bute out and once again became "the best thing since sliced bread" as Bob Arum clearly would've had everyone believe before he lost to Hopkins.

That said, I think Bute wins by UD.
