as somebody already might have said, what manny has done while floyd was "retired" is too impressive for floyd to take the number 1 spot, even if he beats the #1 welterweight.

What did Pac do while Floyd was gone? PED use aside he beat an Oscar, who as Roach described, was shot, drained, and dehydrated. Floyd had already beaten a younger and better version of Oscar at 154.

He beat a Hatton that as Roach described, was ruined since being KO'd by Mayweather. Hatton had also been brutalized by Juan Lazcano 2 bouts earlier.

He beat Cotto, who as Roach described, was ruined goods. A fighter who hadn't been the same since being assaulted by Margarito.
