Shouldn’t Mayweather be applauded for wanting testing for PEDs?

I dont really think Mayweather should be applauded, but i think hes got a right to do what he wants to do, like any fighter.

If he wants only to fight if certain tests are taken, then thats his choice. Same with Pacquiao, if he doesnt want to agree to Mayweathers demands than he doesnt have to, as Roach has said they dont work for Mayweather, hes not the boss.

Am i right in thinking that any illegal substances would have been found with the regular tests that normally take place? If so, then i dont see why any other tests should need to be taken. If they regular test are ok for every other fight out there, then they would have been sufficient for this fight.

Mosley doesn't work for floyd and he is taking the tests,
Holyfield didn't work for Tyson when he took the tests either

As i said, every fighter can make there own decision and Pacquiao doesnt want to. Cleary Mosely wanted to.

Why wasnt the regular tests enough , as they are for 99.9% of fights in boxing.

A fight of this size and money Manny shouldn't have a problem taking these tests,
Especially after all this bull****, it will put a small shadow over his great career.
He should take the tests and fight Floyd

Yeah, i wish he would take the tets, as its a fight i want to see and personally i think he will pass the tests. But i can see why hes not bending over backwards for Mayweather. Just because Mayweather through up accusations then demanded more testing than is officaly required, doesnt mean Manny has to do what he says.

I can see why Pacquiao is saying '**** this guy', if Pacquiao is a clean fighter, not only will he be hurt by the accusations, he will also be pissed off hes being asked to prove himself ,when hes got nothing to prove. I think its all mind games from Mayweather, as he will have really got under Pacquiaos skin, which will benefit him if they do end up fighting.

I actually think he will end up taking the tests for 2 reasons. (1) The fight is worth to much money for it not to happen and (2) Mud sticks, if the tests are never taken, then Pacquioa's brillant achievements will always be in question to some now.

But as i said earlier, i think Mayweather has his rights if thats how he feels regarding the tests, and Pacquiao also has is rights depending on his feeling on the situation.

Then rejected all of a sudden at the last minute. Was it Arum who did that?

                Also, please consider that:

                1. Clottey, though a formidable fighter is practically a non-entity among the average fight fan, thus giving him zero negotiating power.
                2. Clottey is under Top Rank which is ... whaddayaknow! ... is ALSO promoting Manny. In effect, they have the same boss.

In other words, Manny can practically dictate all the terms of this fight, just as Floyd jr. can dictate all the terms with his fight with Mosley, who is even higher in rankings than Clottey and has more name recognition.

Dallas was never going to happen tool....even Pac said he preferred Vegas.....the veue was never an issue.....stop trying to defelect......

Ofcourse he is right.....regardless of whether his motivations are "pure"

Seems we have alot of PAc fans who condone PED use.......

You could say Floyd is bending over backwards for him......

                      1. Manny picked Weightclass (Manny picked)
                      2. Agreed to 50/50 split even though Floyd has better PPV history
                      3. Agreed to Glove Size (Manny picked)
                      4. Agreed to 10million penalty for weight-in
                      5. Agreed to Fight in March (When he wanted May)
                      6. Was willing to fight in Dallas (Arum wanted)
                      7. Agreed to 14 day cut off point (Which Roach requested, then when agreed they declined)

If anyone is bending over backwards its Floyd
