The fighter who doesn't want to be terminally injured by a mad man on drugs should, not the commissioner next to the ring watching two men batter the **** outa each other, they just want action they don't give a **** if the fighter gets hurt.

Can you please enlighten me on this comparison? For MLB and NFL players, who ask for a more stringent drug testing on any player, is it the players from the opposing team, the fans etc? Who in particular, if i may ask? Thanks.

Because I don't think Manny gives two craps about the testing. Personally I think it's more likely Arum is ducking a Pac-Floyd fight then it is that Pac is on PEDs or Pac is ducking Floyd.

We all should want stricter testing. There should not be any doubt about that, and if you don't that's sad. But Floyd should not get credit for trying to clean up the sport because he is not trying to.

I think if Floyd made this an issue when he was #1 P4P fighter, he would have been applauded.

However, he waits until somebody else becomes #1 P4P, then accuses them of only being so good because of PEDs, then demands random testing until 14 days before the fight.

Floyd Mayweather is being disingenuous. He wanted to defame Pacquiao, made demands on the tests that were not his to make (i.e. not commission sanctioned) and seemed to be unwilling to compromise to a pretty acceptable 24day* limit. He isn't trying to clean up the sport, he's trying to tarnish the guy that is now rated better than him. That is why he is "vilified".

* I doubt anybody could gain serious advantage by taking PEDs in a 24 day window - at a stretch, perhaps only 2 weeks of those 24 days where it can be taken without showing up after the fight

Well obviously Pacquiao doesn't give two craps about the testing. Some people don't care and are like, "I don't care, I'll take it." It's the kind that say "I don't care, I'm NOT taking it" that you should be worried about. As for Floyd getting credit, well, I could give two craps about that. How about we the fans take Pacquiao to task for his actions, instead of concentrating on the other guy?

I will applaud Mayweather if he will bring this random blood testing to the governing body like NSAC.

As of the moment, he doesn't care, he just want to make his own decisions and just plain tarnish Pac's name. Pac's camp has always said that they're not against the testing and will gladly follow it if the governing body is the one who demands a random blood test.

All it takes is to brought it up to NSAC present their arguments and let NSAC do the rest. If this happens and NSAC will implement random blood test it will not look like singling out on Pac, which is the case with the Mayweather camp.

Some Floyd fans always ask "why Pac walk away from $40 Million with just a simple blood test?" Well the answer is what I've written above and before someone ask this question again. Think and ponder, when someone like Mayweather who calls himself Money May with a tag line of "Legacy don't pay bills". Well he was given the chance of a big payday, uhm, Money May, plus the legacy that comes with it if he wins. But alas, he made it more complicated.
