I believe Floyd's resume below 140 alone makes him an ATG, and he has ATG skill regardless.

As for how high, that remains to be seen. What if he beats Pac twice, the winner of SSM/Berto, and say...martinez or williams?

I would place him very very high. As should anyone in that scenario
I think PBFs resume is good in his past. But i think anyone would leave off his win over hatton, JMM. His win over DLH should be put into perspective considering DLH was at the tail end of his career. If you want to use his win over DLH to assess where he is all time, use caution.

So everything he did under 140 is what people should use to assess his career. Pac certainly has been more impressive in the higher weights.

PBF is not picking the weight like he did against Hatton and Co.
Floyd offered Hatton and Cotto a fight at 140 lbs and they both turned him down. When Hatton called him out, Floyd said he was willing to fight for Hattons LWW belt but Hatton said he wanted to fight for Floyds ww belt. The Marquez fight was really about proving that he was a bigger name than pac, by having greater ppv buys against common opponents. If you remember Arum was at one point talking about 65-35, now they are doing it 50-50.

Floyd fought DLH at a higher weight and wasnt allowed to use the gloves he wanted, to protect his hands.

The fact that manny has 4 lineal Titles automatically makes him an ATG IMO
adding to that the two battles with JMM and his dismantling of cotto, almost makes it undeniable

Why would an elite fighter like Floyd want to fight a prospect like Cotto at 140? Why not try to fight Cotto when Cotto became elite at 147?

Wasn't Hatton signed to Showtime at the time? How could he and Floyd fight? When Floyd was an HBO fighter...

Now yes Floyd has greater PPV buys against common opponents like Oscar and Hatton and Pac. But, you really can not count the JMM PPV as a common opponent...

I thought Floyd said the reason he didn't stop Oscar. Was cuz he had pillows as gloves?

Cotto was not a prospect at the time. He had a belt and had beaten some very solid fighters at 140.
