i remember so many "no excuses" threads, how hattons strength will be proper for this fight, how hatton will be fine, hatton is prepared, hattons in the best shape of his life. and yes, you too were involved in those thread.
Still doesnt answer my question that PBF says people will criticise him no matter what. So PBFs answer is to fight hatton at 147 so people can criticise him. So he fights JMM at 147 so people can criticise him.

The history books will look at these big details. Floyd fights in his own backyard as well giving himself all the advantages. It is not some one who has achieved great things under adversity. PBF gave him the best chance to be succesful and keep his zero. Didnt take the risks.

He fought Hatton when he was undefeated.....
Why does Floyd need to fight at a disadvantage?

If you want people to say you achieved something special PBF beating hatton at 140 would be going someway to doing that. Just beating hatton at147 isnt something anyone would consider special.
PBF was fighting in his own backyard, so what more advantages did he want? Its almost a fight he couldnt lose because everything was going his way. Even the ref helped him. No one will ignore these things and will continue to criticise PBF.

O, Ok. So Floyd can only get credit if...

          he goes to England
          drops down a weight class
the ref doesnt do his job

          Got it.

if what you say is true, WHY did you pick Hatton to beat Floyd....AT 47?

"I've always said Ricky wasn't a welterweight and I wasn't interested in going back up to that division unless it was [against] Floyd because he's not such a big guy," added Graham.

"I don't think Floyd's any bigger than Ricky, whereas a lot of the welterweights are."

Hatton was fighting at 147. If PBF didnt want people to criticise him he would have taken hatton at 140. But at the time PBF wasnt thinking clearly and about his legacy, and people not criticing him. All he wanted to do was give himself the best opportunity to beat hatton, which he wasnt sure he could at 140. That is a chicken to me, and not someone who was willing to take risks. It was someone who doubted his own abilities. Not someone who will go down as an ATG. Him fighting JMM is the same.

He barely beat a past it DLH. Pac showed how you should deal with past it champions. Without making excuses about how good the DLH was that fought PBF and the DLH who fought Pac. DLH signed the contract to fight Pac at 147. He is a grown man and knew what he was doing. He thought he could beat Pac, as did everyone else.

When youl look at it. If PBF even makes the ATG list, he will have overachieved and be proud of himself.

Thank you. Hatton never wanted Floyd at 149 either. He knew he wasn’t ready and would get destroyed. He wanted PBF at 147 because of size; and he knew if he lost to PBF at 147 he had 140 to run back to

IMHO to date these two wins are PBF best
