If Floyd never fought JMM, Hatton and Oscar he would still be very highly thought of because the best part of his career was at 130 and that is why he is considered one of the greatest 130 pounders ever.

Corrales was a bigger win then Hatton and JMM, I would say JLC is also.

Genaro, Corrales, JLC, Gatti, Oscar and JMM are all pretty likely to get into the hall of fame, it is also possible that Hatton gets in. That would be 7 if those guys all get in, do you really think looking back 50 years from now people would look at beating 7 hall of fame fighter (no matter how much they really deserve to get in) as a bad thing?

His 3 biggest names are Hatton, DLH and JMM.
Hatton was fighting at 147. If PBF didnt want people to criticise him he would have taken hatton at 140. But at the time PBF wasnt thinking clearly and about his legacy, and people not criticing him. All he wanted to do was give himself the best opportunity to beat hatton, which he wasnt sure he could at 140. That is a chicken to me, and not someone who was willing to take risks. It was someone who doubted his own abilities. Not someone who will go down as an ATG. Him fighting JMM is the same.

He barely beat a past it DLH. Pac showed how you should deal with past it champions. Without making excuses about how good the DLH was that fought PBF and the DLH who fought Pac. DLH signed the contract to fight Pac at 147. He is a grown man and knew what he was doing. He thought he could beat Pac, as did everyone else.

When youl look at it. If PBF even makes the ATG list, he will have overachieved and be proud of himself.

Dont try counter with Pacs catch weight with Cotto at 145. Cotto hasnt said anything about that effecting him, because it didnt. He tried his best against Pac but it wasnt good enough. Cotto doesnt use the weight excuse.

Pac daring to challenge the feared Cotto is an achivement all in itself, because PBF surely didnt.
