I agree with your assessment of the fight when it happens. I also get where you are going with the way Floyd picks and chooses his opponents. It is a strategy that has been done time and time again. De la Hoya, Roy Jones, Jack Dempsey, Julio Cesar Chavez and Sugar Ray Leonard all subscribed to that same playbook. It is a somewhat tradition that many of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport have followed. I don't agree with it, but it is allowed to happen.

Sometimes people are good enough that they get special passes in areas where others have to earn it. As much as people hate Floyd, you cannot deny his amazing boxing ability. Yes, he could have fought more people in his career, but you can't change that now.

Manny has moved up to fight the best in their own divisions. Floyd makes the best from other divisions move up and fight him. If you can see the difference there, I don't know what to tell you.
