Does he deserve Pac, do you still want the fight made.

Says Floyd. What happens if Pac decides to exercise other options such as the shane-Berto winner? Floyd has nothing than. In actuality, all roads go thru Manny.Originally posted by Breakbeat;6691206All roads lead to Floyd..........I can't wait to see Floyd put on a masterclass in boxing against Pac.Comment

Point is, both should have to EARN their way to the championship game. Pac has beaten the second best, if not the best welterweight. Floyd has beaten a fighter with 2 fights at 135 and none at 140 or 147. This fight will happen, and I want to see it. That doesn't make Floyd the most deserving though, does it?what??? how is that analogy even fit... Point is floyd is the best thing out there for manny and manny is the best thing out there for floyd. Plus if anything with your analogy, if i could say which championship game id want to see happen right away neglecting that im a bulls fan, id say id want the championship game to be the lakers vs celtics this year...Comment
How does Hatton being better then Baldomir justify Pacquiao fighting Hatton when he had 0 Jr. Welterweight fights? Floyd at least had a welterweight fight before he fought Baldomir (well...it was shotbay...but still).
My man, Hatton is a far cry from Baldomir, no?
That's besides the point. You weren't complaining about Pacquiao fighting Hatton with 0 Jr. Welterweight fights. That's a double standard.
It's been 2007 since he fought top fighters. Hatton and De La Hoya were good fighters that won him FOTY in 07. Although, there are other reasons on why he deserves the fight. It is the fight everyone wants to see, including me. But he hasn't beaten a top welter since forever. Am I wrong?Comment

Floyd deserves a fight with Pacquiao, but if he doesn't have the stones to fight Mosley like Pacquiao may possibly have right now gives him less leverage. That's what happens when you duck and dodge. Mosley wanted to go down to 140 to fight Pacquiao and Manny went with Cotto, but I'm not gonna pass judgement on that until Pacquiao makes his next move. At least Freddie Roach is putting Mosley's name in the discussion. That's good.Comment

it wasn't because of floyd it was because of oscar & hattonFloyd has sold 4.4 Million Pay Per Views in his last 3 fights. Keep that in mind when you ask if he deserves a big money fight.
If he chooses to fight the last man standing, how is that bad?
The last man standing is the best one of them all, the worthy opponent. It's like a Royal Rumble, winner gets the Champion at Wrestlemania.Comment
He'll get the fight because his skills are undeniable and he has a (now) proven knack for generating money. He certainly hasn't earned by fighting the best welterweights though, that is a fact.I never said it justified it. Every fighter should have to work their way to the top in my opinion. I never had a bad thing to say when Floyd made the fight with Oscar either. How does Hatton being better then Baldomir justify Pacquiao fighting Hatton when he had 0 Jr. Welterweight fights? Floyd at least had a welterweight fight before he fought Baldomir (well...it was shotbay...but still).
I alw2ays said Pac should have stated at 135 and cleared out that division before moving up. But at least he went after the best in the division when he did move up. He almost always seems to do this while Floyd cherry pick and makes guys move up to him as of late. Am I lying about that? That's besides the point. You weren't complaining about Pacquiao fighting Hatton with 0 Jr. Welterweight fights. That's a double standard.

I use to think like that, but Floyd has proven he can bring the money. His fight with Marquez had no business doing a million PPV's. Floyd made that happen though. I don't like him, but I will give credit when its due.Comment
