Who did Tyson ever beat? His resume is pretty bad.

He’s got a good resume, not great.

Cleaned out the division from 86-90 but it was very weak.

I'm not convinced it's a worse era. But the fact is that AJ and Fury will be well regarded for their achievements across a decade+.

What would be Tyson's equivalent rivals? Holyfield, Bowe and Lewis? He fought 2 of them and lost 3 times, once in disgrace.

Mike Tyson is one of the most favorite boxing icons America ever produced and marketed. His image and highlight reels have went around the world atleast 10 million times. His resume is weak but nobody here will agree with you because he was marketed so heavy and is so well liked. Welcome to boxingscene and the boxing community. You do have merit for your claims but this isnt the place to hear non bias feedback.

It’s debatable, atleast that short time Tyson was dominant.

I mean, he won the title off Trevor Berbick for crying out loud.

I don’t see Fury having any kind of trouble with anyone Tyson fought from 85-89.

AJ? Perhaps a few but I’d probably pick him to go undefeated aswell.

Agree. Though the one that stylistically might have given them a problem was the guy Tyson beat most easily - Spinks.

Spinks was a great fighter but don’t think he could compete there at Heavyweight, I thought he was fortunate to get the Holmes decisions.

Your opinion, that's what it is. You leaving other prime fighters out. Eight fights a HW and he's the greatest because he beat a quitter (that knocked him out in one fight) a fat gypsy that had one foot out of the ring and a scared black man that got knocked out by a 5', 300 pounds Mexican. Boy you got no argument.
