  • Who did Tyson ever beat? His resume is pretty bad.

Michael Spinks is a great win. But who else?

Old Larry Holmes coming out of retirement? Bruno?

Mike's record is so so thin.

Tyson beat who was there for him to beat in the '80s.

He beat 8 of the 10 top ranked fighters of the year he became champion.

Knocked the majority of them out.

    That's all he could do.

Relatively weak resume but he gets points for some consistency in the 80s. Is held back a lot for never fighting or losing to all of the HOF/ATG level 90s HW's.

Anyone who claims that Tyson had a weak resume simply is ignorant on boxing in the 1980s.

              On this, we agree.
The "champs" he beat were extremely forgettable.
Can't believe mugs praise them !!!!

IMHO, his best win(s) were -
              Ruddock ?!?!?
              Williams ?!?!?
              Ready to retire Spinks ?!?!?

There were high expectations for Tyrell Biggs. He defeated Lennox in the Olympics and was undefeated when he faced Tyson. Mike stopped him in round 6 or 7. He routinely beat much bigger and stronger opponents.

His resume is ****e and by the time decent opposition came on the scene in the 90s he was "shot" even though he was far younger than them and had taken no punishment.

Mike Tyson is the biggest myth in boxing.
