Usyk folded up Dubois with a jab so there is more than enough power in that department for Usyk. Fury and AJ (AJ avenged his loss against Ruiz which was a considered a slip up) were both mentally unbeaten. Usyk was the first one to break them both mentally and physically, Usyk had them both out on their feet, AJ in the 12th (fight finished 10 seconds earlier) and Fury saved by the ref in the 9th.

If the latter is something people are so secure in their ability; just pick the Usyk-Dubois II winner up front and bet your house, make a fortune.

Although he's in his late 30's now (38 1/2), he has very low mileage as a pro. 23 fights is traditionally just a great start.
        His extensive amateur record notwithstanding.

Wrap it up like this and we can talk about keeping company with Johnson, Dempsey, Louis, Marciano, Liston, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Holmes, Tyson, Lewis and Klitschko:

        Daniel Dubois.........................TKO. 11
        Joseph Parker........................W. 12
        Agit Kabayel...........................W. 12
        Moses Itauma........................TKO. 10

Your argument is faulty because Klitschko never fought back to back new age SHWs AJ,Dubois,Fury. Not even talking about Maricano who fought mostly against CWs and LHWs. In a factual sense there are not many on that list who DO pass that bar.

I feel like I am gonna get Motte & Bailey'd on this, but I'll ask anyhow.

Are you implying that Usyk is the heavyweight GOAT because he won 6 consecutive fights against fighters over a certain weight?

I love Usyk, he is an ATG, but it feels as if that specific argument is specious

                No.

The talent just doesn't exist in this era for that to be the case.

They were all unbeaten or prime and highest ranked at the time just like Dubois who earned his shot the proper way. If the weight is irrelevant then which HW has such a string of wins against similar sized opponents ?

Not after tomorrow he won’t. Once he officially loses to Daniel Dubois again.

I say that because I thought Triple D defeated him the first time. However, he was done dirty by the officials way in a distant land.

Where Oleksandr Usyk had the upper hand and the home field advantage. Besides, we won’t know what damage if any he has sustained in both of those Tyson Fury victories.

I just have this premonition that Usyk loses to Daniel Dubois on Saturday.
