If Dubois were to defeat Usyk in their rematch

    Hypothetically........

If Dubois were to defeat Usyk in their rematch; by stoppage or wide UD; what will the chatter be?

    My guess?:

    Not many wins.

Not enough great wins at heavyweight.

Both Joshua and Fury were past it when Usyk squeezed by them.

    Another hype job.

    Overrated.

    Not big enough.

Boxing sucks. Prefer fighters with panties on, nuts in they face.

He won't, so it's an irrelevant discussion.

I don't know what the general chatter will be but I personally wouldn't be surprised if he wins. Two reasons why.

        1. Heavyweight boxing, one punch can change a fight.

        2. Age. A slight slip in speed and reflexes could be all it takes

Unless Usyk has aged overnight, I don't see Dubois getting past him. Dubois splattered a guy Usyk already beat twice and two suspect fighters (one a known cheat) and suddenly he has a chance? Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to see the upset, but it's a long shot.

Plenty of credit from me if he wins this considering he was outclassed and quit last time.

Have a massive 3rd fight later this year.

I think Usyk wins by ko again.

A Dubois upset win would give the sport a bit of energy and attention and set up a trilogy that fans would love to watch.

Your premise does not hold up. Fury was undefeated and AJ got caught against Ruiz but was never exposed technically.

You will certainly hear overrated and hype job, but thats because the biased and those who have allegiances to other fighters always do that. Unlike team sports, boxing has no season, so when father time finally catches up to a fighter those with an agenda act as if that given fighter has always been that bad.

This will just be the few who are the biased with an agenda though, and though their voice may be amplified by their many posts online, most recognize they are wrong.

Regardless of what Usyk does from this minute forward he is already one of, if not the, greatest cruisers ever. And the man who unified the heavyweight division by scoring multiple victories over two of the top dogs of the era- both of whom were younger than him.

Dont let a vocal minority troll you otherwise
