Not imo. TR has not done right by him.

We all killed Bud for staying with TR even though he was overpaid to fight weak comp. Shakur would be in the same boat.

I think it’s best to see what else is out there for you. He probably will not make $3 mil immediately.

BUD is on a different level than Shakur , even when he was fighting cans he was getting finishes ..Shakur's problem is his style combined w/ a lack of power , like you said we will see but if I were advising him . I would have had told him to take the 15 mil ..........

Fair point. But Bud is one of the dudes advising him. Lol.

Bud, like Fishnets, Floyd, Cotto and Manny, had his biggest commercial success away from TR. Shakur see this.

Had TR matched him as they should’ve, I believe he stays and takes that deal.

Not sure how smart it is to "Bet on yourself" when every one of your hometown fights have your own fans fleeing for the door by the ninth round

Stevenson was wise to turn down a low-ball offer. Stevenson, if he keeps winning, is two to three fights, or less away...from a showdown with either Tank, Loma, or Cruz. $15 million is a nice amount, but Shakur will only keep approximately a fourth of the money - taxes, sanctioning fees, management, etc ..will get the rest. Arum was basically giving Stevenson a $4 million contract - that's $800,000 a fight.

Stevenson is taking a huge gamble, but I believe he's worth more than what Arum offered.

Hopefully, he'll sign with a promoter that can elevate his stardom, and pockets.

Boxing is a cruel and corrupt sport.

Yeah, another promoter is suddenly going to have people want to watch Shakurs style of "Don't hit and don't get hit" boxing

I have no doubt this would be the fight Davis and Ellerbe would be working on. If not, who else is there?

Loma has said he can step aside and fight the winner of the fight. I doubt Ellerbe would be excited to work with Arum.
