Once Stevenson fights a fighter that is good fighting in a booth, he might suffer the same fate as Haney.
Stevenson is not worth $3 million a fight as well. Promoters are going to lose $$$ on him, I always stop watching his fights by the end of the 7th round because I know I’m going to see the same cycle of movement and punches. Gets boring
Haney doesn't do well on the inside. You're right about that. He doesn't want to risk getting caught by a punch

In multiple threads you are upping Shakur big time!! It's almost as if you are at his house with a bottle of lotion shining him up.
People can opinions about your butt-buddy .

Bob had been protecting Stevenson since time immemorial. Like I said, he couldn't even provide him better names like disposable Berchelt and had to give him instead to Valdez. In Arum's mind he's making an investment on Shakur. He had to protect him from possible humiliation. Maybe Arum was not confident enough.

the more i think of shakur not taking up the haney offer for undisputed the worse it gets, i mean he could have been the main player in the division calling the shots instead of the fringe'ish guy he is now scratching around complaining about his opponents, his pay, his opportunities
loma im sure would be lining up and eager for another shot at undisputed and on shakurs terms as well, he would have made the perceived shortfall from the haney 25% back in that one fight then
Tank may well have decided yeah time is right to take the yappy dog out and take all the titles as well in one go
Shakur could have chosen who he wants instead of complaining about who hes not getting
shame

Shakur is confused about his value and he only looks at everything from his point of view. He complains that Loma will not fight him, but the real question is - if you are Loma, why would you fight Shakur? What does he bring to the table? If you a professional athlete and your working life is limited, you go for the most money and/or the most kudos - ideally both. Loma is close to retirement and therefore he needs to maximise his earnings for his family because he will be retired for a long time. Therefore, he will select other champions who are popular and will bring the belt and audience to the table. Kambosos in Australia made sense. Boxing is popular in Australia, so it means large earnings. If you were Loma and you were 2 to 3 fights from retirement, who would give you the best purse for your next fight - Shakur or Tank (they both bring a belt to the table)? Shakur is blaming everybody else (mainly his promoter and his opponents) but is refusing to look at himself in the mirror to see why the big fights are out of his reach.

Arum doesn't protect fighters as much as protects his money. This is why Crawford left. He damaged Crawford's reputation too as Crawford was seeking bigger fights. But, Arum was protecting Crawford too? Never that!!!
