Prime and P4P, you'd have to go with Oscar because Canelo's loss to Mayweather ruined him in the grand scheme of things even tho it was at a catchweight (thanks to Canelo's dumb managers and team).

Oscar's controversial loss to Trinidad is the one that hurt him the most in the overall ATG rankings despite many people saying that Oscar should of got the nod in that one and him doing a better job against Tito than Canelo did against Floyd.

Yep, and I just broke down why you’re wrong. But hey, you can still pretend that Canelo would’ve had a shot. It’s a fantasy match up after all. Most people just know better than to think he would beat any of the 3 I referenced.

At 154 It could have gone either way ,anything above 160 Canelo would def beat Oscars cross dressing ass lol, like another poster pointed out, even Oscar himself admitted most likely would've lost to the ginger. I bet he thinks different nowadays lol.

As for Vargas, Canelo smokes him. Speed n Skills make the difference.

i remember people used to say oscar cherry picked old guys because chavez and whitaker were 33 when he fought them. compared to guys like floyd and canelo thats great. not to mention those arent even his legacy fights necessarily since he also fought prime quartey, trinidad, mosley, floyd, etc...oscar never would have ducked benavidez

Was never a fan of his above WW.
              Above WW, Nelo takes it.

Honestly I would have to rewatch some of their older fights, there are pros and cons for each guy.

                  Canelo:
                  - he was in a counterpuncher phase back then, didnt really use his size or power.
                  - his hands were still quick
                  - went the distance with mathew hatton didnt have many KOs at 154

                  DLH:
                  - he didnt face many full size jr. middleweights. Vargas is the only one, stopped him 2 years after tito did.
                  - most of the other guys DLH fought at 154 were smaller guys who moved up, mosley, mayweather ect. Gift over sturm at 160. quit against hopkins at 158.
                  - 154 wasnt his best, his power and speed were reduced, I think Canelo may have faster hands

I could see DLH outworking canelo though to a decision. Canelo likes to sit back and counter back then and DLH was good at throwing flurries to keep the judges entertained. Plus Canelo's "star power" where he got ever close decision in his career in his favor would be gone with DLH. I could see canelo landing the harder shots but being outworked and DLH winning on points.

Benny is the WBC mandatory so WBC should actually enforce their own rules and strip Canelo if he refuses. Also Benny is clearly the top opponent at 168 and Canelo claims he is the best fighter at 168 so he should prove it. If canelo wants to play the game of avoiding Benny he should give up the title and tell the truth that either him or benny are the best at 168 but he is declining the fight.

Canelo wants the accolades without the risk.

Nelo needs to pick a div and claim it, true.
I understand mandos needs to be addressed but resume wise, Benny is lacking.
As are most of these boogeymen.
                      KO'ing a bunch of scrubs
Gloating over beating a guy Nelo has already beaten.

Of the active fighters, people expect more from Nelo
                      Rarely receives enough credit.

If they fight this year (which I think they will) and Nelo wins (which I think he will), get ready for the excuses
