De la Hoya by decision. 154 is the worst version of canelo.

The Oscar that beat vargas would beat canelo at 154.

Canelo is a much naturally bigger dude, I think he’d stop Oscar tbh.

Oscar KOs Canelo in my opinion. Oscar’s jab footwork and speed would have been too much for flat-footed Canelo.

I like ODLH to win at '54 and lower by decision. But at 160 Canelo stops Oscar. I think people forget sometimes how good Oscar's jab was.

DLH would have outboxed him or sliced him up for a bloody stoppage. Either that or Canelo would have avoided him with a long yellow streak down his back like he’s doing Benevidez

Oscar wins. As Paulie said, Oscar beat Vargas and Vargas was a better version of canelo at 154.

The lone chance for Canelo is a body shot like the one Hopkins knocked Oscar out with.

That was one of the most disrespectful things that Paulie has ever said about Canelo (and he's said plenty). Canelo absolutely wipes the floor with Fernando Vargas; a complete career-ending ass beating worse than Tito gave him. Both Paulie and Chris Algieri defended their arguments well, but I lean toward Algieri's argument. As great as ODLH was, he was a noticeably different and declined fighter at 154lbs and above. JMW Canelo pressures and outworks this version of ODLH for a clean but competitive UD win.
