I doubt Usyk would be 2 division champion in any other era

Only thing that comes out of Fury Usyk is how much of a bum AJ is. plodding low gas tank no heart no chin no balls. bum of a bodybuilder.

Usyk is a GOAT Cruiserweight and Fury is the GOAT Heavyweight.

He also didnt fold under pressure the way Wlad did, when Wlad got pressured he panicked, you see the same thing in AJ. Vitali kept his cool when Sanders was trying to take his head off.

Wlad got a lot "better" after Steward got him and made his adjustments, really taught him to hold on more and to use the jab more before letting the right hand go.... made fights safer for wlad but also made him a lot more boring to watch for fans.

If you combined the best attributes of both brothers that would have been a pretty amazing fighter.
"He had a tricky defense with better head movement."

Hard to say because Vitali's competition was a lot weaker. His defence wasn't effective against Lewis, who unlike most of Vitali opponents wasn't much shorter. Agile Byrd was also able to slip shots and tag Vitali more. After Wlad perfected his dirty clinching style he got hit less than Vitali.

"He also didnt fold under pressure the way Wlad did"

I would agree that Vitali had better composure, at least when Wlad was young but Vitali folded against Byrd, Wlad never quit. Wlad also overcame a lot more adversity in his career.

"made him a lot more boring to watch for fans"

Sure but Vitali's not exactly an exciting fighter. At least Wlad's fights often ended with an explosive KO.

"If you combined the best attributes of both brothers"

True but perhaps it's physiologically impossible (at least at the present time) for a fighter to have every attribute. Maybe the bone density that gives Joyce an insane chin for example also makes him slow and stiff etc.

I see your point - let's see if Fury can actually get to Usyk like he did to Cunningham. You are right when you say Usyk never fought somebody like Fury, but Fury also never fought a technician like Usyk that also has great stamina (unless you think Cunningham was all that).

For the record, I favour Fury to win this, mostly due to his reach advantage.

We saw what happened when Wladimir faced Southpaw Corrie Sanders.

          Yeah, Uysk beats him easily.

Vitali was a different beast. But again he never faced a southpaw like Usyk. No heavyweight has.

Usyk, win or lose, is a nightmare for any heavyweight. They have literally seen nothing like him.

Vitali got his ass kicked by Byrd. A smaller HW southpaw not terribly unlike Usyk.

My point is both K2 bros got beaten by southpaws.

Well the only CW champ that even has a chance of beating him is Holyfield & he doesn't have the best record vs southpaws in fact he lost to Moorer at HW
There probably aren't many HW champs you'd favour either and if so its baseless speculation as many never fought a southpaw. You can't learn how to fight a southpaw in one camp.

I think Wladimir Klitschko is the only HW champion that had real success vs southpaws going 5-1 or 6-1.
The rest barely if at all ever fought a southpaw now we're expected to believe that the most complex HW southpaw style, the most skilled southpaw of all wouldn't give them fits?

Usyk is a big ass problem for any HW in any era. In fact todays fighters are far from better equipped to fight southpaws and for most part they don't tend too fare too well.

Old school guys would have parked him. No way he would have gotten away with faking low blows.

The 3rd one was right dead in his abs.

Lol, Vitali Klitschko would beat him brutally, Wladimir also.

Wladimir would beat Fury in a rematch, Fury knew it and ducked it.

Usyk is a lucky man. Big guys would beat him badly in any other era.

Big guys are recent in the heavyweight division, at least good big guys.
