I also think there is a tendency to look at steriods as some magical eliquer that makes a mere mortal into a fighting machine... Like Fury would have lost to people if he did not enhance his training. I mean if you look at the Klitko fight, and see how Fury depended on his superhuman strength, his aggression and punch resistance!!!! Oh wait... Fury beat Klitsko using fine motor skills like timing, like fighting off the back foot properly, using the length on his jab... BUT THOSE ROIDS musta given him at least 4 more inches of reach!!! Don't they do that?

People just do not understand the limits to steriod use and how much it blends with other nutritional strategies to help a person... they are not a magic "win" card in the ring.

To be clear: Not saying roids are not an advantage, but how they help, is an important consideration.

Ok, Fury fans, give me one good reason why would I like Fury.

      - he is a jerk
      - he is a cheat
      - he is a liar
      - he is talking sh.it all the time
      - he is taking the belt hostage
      - he refuses to fight, not only top competition, but any top 10 competition

Let him start fighting his actual competition, which means, Usyk, Joshua, Zhang, Parker,, Sanchez, Ruiz...

He must fight at least 5 of these guys.

100%. Obv its a problem & ultimately cheating, but they aren't giving ppl superpowers either. I feel like ppl have so much problem with a nuanced opinion these days, here or elsewhere. Theres fewer things in the black & white than ppl think & a lot more things in the gray.

You don't need to like him, I don't like some high level boxers myself. Denying hes a bad mfer is where ppl are looking silly or petty.

            Ok I will bite:

            1. You should like Fury because he has two arses. One arse hangs just above the other one... It is a site to behold! You have to love a guy who is a true a s shole plus 1! I mean the guy is a real a s shole! and the chances are double he is an a s s hole.

            2. Fury can sing. The Gypsy King carries a tune quite well! He would be a blast for a sing along!

            3. Fury is a British heavyweight that has managed to master the Vertical Position. Enough said on that one...

            4. Fury is a real bona fide.... Travellor. But the Gypsies still like him! He can sing, slag, and scam as good as a real one!

            5. He has a nice smile and smells like lemon pledge.

                /QUOTE]

Not if they also fought each and each of them also fought all of the current top 10 contenders. That's what Ali and Frazier did and that's also what Holmes, Tyson, Holyfield and Lewis did. Wlad Klitschko also fought every top HW during his reign, except his own brother.

Amen. There's a world of difference between fighting the best available guys and ALSO fighting some extra opponents, and fighting cherry picked opponents and not the best guys. Very few people would be as critical of Fury for fighting Ngannou if he'd already fought at least one of Usyk and AJ. And I don't blame him for the WBC mandatory situation because Ruiz Jr killed that fight, and he's already fought Wilder enough. But the ****** antics during the Usyk negotiations were blatant ducking. Same reason that people are giving Canelo guff now. He's fighting a 154lb guy instead of either of the Davids or either of the 175lb champions. And it's looking like it might end up being Charlo, Crawford, instead of some of the other better fights at 168.

And that would be fine if Luke had been making solid and consistent defences since the Klitschko win, but he hasn't done that.

Luke disappeared for three years under dubious circumstances.

Luke insisted he was retired after Whyte only to return to fight Chisora.

As I said above, some people seem to find this entertaining - I and many others don't.

But....If I were to be charged with crafting his legacy, I would make the Usyk fight first, followed by Joshua, Zhang, Ngannou and Ruiz.
                    We all good now.

Seems the Fury v Usyk fight will be on in December.

Well.... I guess Klitchko is Fury's best win. That of course is disregarding his positive drug test
But when it suits the argument Wilder goes from being a bum, one trick pony,,etc to the hardest puncher and a champion with a bunch of title defenses and stuff, when it suits.
