Why is Wilder still considered elite?

Casuals always fixate on relative measures... Ranked, unranked are subjective measures and mean little with respect to a talent pool that is perpetually diminished. Ortiz was hyped because he did not have any losses and went through the division like a hot knife through butter. Joyce and Ruiz are not above Ortiz in some vast separate way, Ruiz won, and Joyce? I don't know one can say he is "better" or worse... Ortiz was ducked also before Wilder... something to think about. Ortiz fought very well against Wilder... and Ruiz is in his prime while Ortiz is in hias twilight.

Only to idiots who try to misuse them... You can make all kinds of subjective tea... This guy ranked here, the other guy here... Interesting aside: Did you know that to craft razor blades for shavers is a pretty exacting process? And in fact there are precious few of these facilities that produce these razors. Essentially? Despite many brands, labels, etc... Virtually all shaving blades are crafted in a few facilities...

This situation is analogous to Joshua and Wilder, and any other heavyweight right now. Everybody is drinking from the same well... The well is poisoned with weakness, and that is what we see. It does not matter what rank this guy, or that guy has. Wilder has fought the same level of comp as other marquee heavyweights. That is a fact.

Yet again, the point is that no matter how you move the goalposts, only AJ has fought better opponents, and none of the other heavyweights have managed to match Wilder's accomplishments. If the division is full of bums and everyone else has even worse opposition, why haven't they done as well as Wilder if it's so easy? For that matter, since it's so easy, where's YOUR pro record at?

It's fact that Wilder still has more fights against top ranked opponents than Fury or Ruiz, Usyk started at cruiser and only has AJ at heavyweight, and NONE of them have been able to match his accomplishments.

He's still had 6 fights against Ring ranked opponents, which is more than Tyson Fury or Andy Ruiz. Of the current champions, only AJ has fought better opponents, and his record isn't actually that good there either. Maybe Usyk has fought better opponents, but it's close there. And none of them have managed to match Wilder's accomplishments in an admittedly weak division. You move the goalposts left and right. Like, you say Stiverne is unrated in the second fight, but didn't bother to count him for the first fight when he was rated, which was already enough to disprove your claim. And you conveniently left out the fact that Stiverne was dropped from the rankings for lack of activity, not because better guys came along.
