You’re the delusional one. Canelo agreed and chose the weight. He never made any excuses about the weight being the reason why he lost, only his delusional fans like yourself are claiming that. Canelo wasn’t in his prime, and Floyd was out of his prime when they fought. You’re going based on Canelo being at his current weight vs the same version of Floyd, boxing doesn’t work like that. Size does matter. Fact of the matter is that if they’re both fighting at same weight class that they’re comfortable of making, prime for prime, size for size, Floyd would beat him 10 times out of 10. Deal with it!
Floyd laid the blueprint for how to beat Canelo

You are as usual completely fos. Canelo never stopped complaining in 24/7 show series,& Floyd forced him to make a weight he made clear was going to" cause serious damage, because I outgrew ability to make 152 as he had just turned 23 & his body had grown too much last few fights"(canelos quote)

it was none other than Floyd himself who said for years that "cw fights don't count, weightdraining your opponent don't count, unlike pac I want my opponents at they're best"
Also Floyd in same 24/7 showtime show :" yeah I weightdrained him so what, I'm the A side,I got spies in his camp telling me hes going to bed without eating, hes not training because hes starving himself, this steak looks good don't it,this lobster looks good huh Canelo hahaha"
Floyd would lose 10 times out of 10 if he fought an older Canelo at 154 or 160
(Floyd was just skinny but he was Canelos size) if Canelo was 3 or 4 years older Floyds superior boxing skills wouldn't be enough.(Canelo was days past 22 & weightdrained by Floyds own words deal with it,Floyd was at his best at 36(most boxers aren't truly elite til they hit their prime & many like Floyd are still prime at 36 wheras inexperienced fighters like Canelo was are often schooled off having horrible strategy like Canelo v Floyd)
That being said,Floyd is a career ww so I wouldn't expect him to beat Canelo whos now fighting at 168 & even 175.(& Yes that was an ATG performance by Floyd)

One gif? Proves what?
Watch the fight, it was his footwork that won him the fight and made him hard to hit, he rarely stood still and used the shoulder roll.

Canelo had a horrible strategy for that fight too(he was young, hardheaded & thought he knew everything)
but if you notice,he fought like he was drained,he had horrible stamina, horrible punch sharpness, terrible reflexes,& general lethargy
(he fought worse than he ever has before or since then too,it wasn't just all Floyd responsible for the schooling,Floyds style relies on fighters not hitting him constantly at every possible opportunity so he can't reset his feet & protect himself as easily (Castillo,Maidana) Current Canelo fights much more that way than before)Comment

Plant literally did nothing the whole fight. This is even with Canelo doing what he is known for, which is start slow. Even with this slow start Plant did nothing. Even BJS did better.
Floyd used his defense, slipped punches, and punched back with jabs AND power punches. He was backing up for a purpose. He made Canelo miss and then made him pay.
Mayweather’s athleticism, defense, elusiveness, counterpunching, timing, punch selection and reflexes, is the blueprint to beating Canelo.
Not the Broner/Plant shoulder roll. You can’t just copy Mayweather’s defense and hope you are going to be like him.
What Plant did is a blueprint for nothing. Canelo literally turned it up when he wanted to and within 2-3 rounds of turning it up, he KO’ed Plant.
Getting backed up to the ropes for 11 rounds, landing nothing of any significance, doing nothing when Canelo missed, is not the blueprint to beating Canelo.
Plant focused too much on jabbing and ducking, nothing else, while Canelo was throwing power shots, breaking him down.
Surely, there has to be a fighter out there who can see what keeps being the downfall for all of these Canelo opponents? Like no one has decided to just go in there and consistently throw power punches at Canelo?
Even Abel Sanchez told everyone that the gameplan for Canelo was to go in there Mexican style and go blow for blow with Canelo. Abel said the way GGG fought Canelo was not what they trained for him in the gym, it was not the gameplan. The backing up and jabs galore was all GGG’s idea once he realized Canelo was coming forward throwing bombs. This came out of Abel Sanchez own mouth before GGG fired him.Comment

Prolonging the inevitable isn’t making things difficult.
All Plant did was literally prolong a stoppage.
Making things difficult is winning rounds, making it close, then getting stopped in a valiant effort.
Plant literally just avoided punching, avoided getting hit with too many power punches, and was with his back on the ropes for 95% of the fight.
That isn’t making things difficult. It’s like a kid doing something ******, get his mom mad, so she goes after him with a belt, and the kid starts running away from the mom within the house. Prolonging the whooping he’s about to get. That’s what Plant looked like in the whole fight.Comment

Floyd would have never fought that version of Canelo, lol. Canelo is a super middleweight now, Floyd never fought even a middleweight guy.Comment
