to beat him requires stamina and defense. You're not gonna knock him out, but outpoint him using angles and legs. He's flat footed and really loads up on his shots. I personally don't see anyone fighting today with the stamina and skills to do that. Doo Doo Andrade would have the same success for 8 or 9 rounds until he's broken down eventually.

Golovkin lead another blueprint to beat Canelo. Be a good fighter with a good strong jab and you're likely to beat Canelo. GGG did it twice.

RJJ was far better and superior fighter compared to Canelo. He would beat ginger, no problem. Ward also.

        GGG beat Canelo.

There is not really a blue print. Just it takes elite fighter to beat somebody like Canelo. Plant and Saunders are world class but not elite.

Plant is on his way to the hospital and got broken down and stopped. It was a clinical beatdown. If it was a lucky shot, I could see that. But from what I saw (through a choppy stream), Canelo was having his way and walking him down the entire night.

Golovkin didn't "beat" Canelo officially nor anywhere near as clearly as Floyd did. And Caleb Plant didn't fight like Golovkin tonight so your comment is pretty irrelevant.

              No offense.

ESPN Stephen a smith said he didn’t want Floyd to fight him because he was too big and might get hurt badly. And if you you go back and watch the weigh in Jim grey infamously asked canelo was he ready and he said”I was born ready”.

even when Floyd was walking to the ring for the fight I can’t remember which commentator but he said floyds career is very dependent on the outcome of this fight. It wasn’t until after the fight all the he was too young and inexperienced started to pop up. But he wasn’t too young and inexperienced to give mosley that savage beating.
Did you watch the Trout fight? He wasn't ready to fight someone like Floyd. His defense was bad, his stamina was terrible, and he lacked championship experience. What did you expect him to say during an interview? That he wasn't ready for the fight? Savage beating against Mosley? He was past his prime, fought to survive every fight, and only fought because he needed the money. Canelo beat a past prime and old ass Mosley. Are you actually giving him credit for beating a washed up and past prime Mosley?

Canelo fought bums before fighting Trout. Trout was his first real opponent and first legit opponent.

You're going to have to watch the fight again, then. And listen to Canelo's postfight comments.

He did break Plant down eventually but not without being given some difficult moments by the shoulder roll defense.

Nobody in this ERA is talented or good enough to pull it off like Floyd

Not only that but Canelo tonight showed improvement when it comes to cutting the ring off
