Beating a prime Castillo is that guy even a 1st Ballot Hall of Famer.
Better wins than Manny though. Oh and Floyd beat Manny despite being older. Go figure.

Whilst I don’t think Floyd has the offensive skills to beat a Hearns or Benitez on the front foot.

It’s obviously subjective, but SRR and SRL are the two most complete fighters ever IMO.
      Hearns, no.

Benitez? Easily. Floyd is levels above Benitez in every area.

I don’t know, Leonard was outboxed and outskilled for long periods in the first fight with Duran.

Defense is not something I would consider a strong point for Leonard, or Robinson. Obviously both have solid defensive skills, but I still wouldn’t consider their defensive ability to be as good as Floyd’s offensive ability (as a younger man)

Obviously both are leaps and bounds ahead of Floyd in the offensive department. But I wouldn’t say they are more complete fighters than Floyd.

I’d argue Floyd’s offense is significantly better than both of their defenses. Especially prime Floyd.

        Ok so start arguing.

Floyd's offense at his peak was vs. Corrales imo.

You sitting here talking like Floyd making prime Jose Luis Castillo, swing and miss, is some miraculous feat.

that how I’d hire to teach me each punch

Floyd often punched with his chin in the air and had a loose left hook

Floyd stands out for his genius, versatility, and adaptability
The point is that it is optional. A bit like when he started looping his right hand against Cotto.

I think a few might have had better fundamentals but I'd say he was more skilled than them all certainly a more complete fighter and processed things faster.

They were more graceful (for most part) and extremely good at what they did than being otherworldly skilled or having an outstanding boxing brain and having the ability to process things at lightning speed and make the adjustments on the fly like Floyd could, for me at least.

A lot of these guys who may well go down as greater fighters were more basic.
Floyd had every punch, every trick in the book and had a lot more variety. He mixed it up better.
They were happy to mimic SRR & Ali and the likes, Floyd took a little something from all the greats.

Which part of that statement does your sad excuse for brain tell you that I’m saying Prime Floyd has a better offense than prime Leonard?

Ok. Is Jose Luis Castillo a 1st ballot Hof'er.

You used his name to back up your claim.

Just explain why you think prime Floyd's offense is better than prime Srl's defense.

Floyd is more skilled than Sugar Ray Robinson. Robinson was a 5'11 welterweight with a granite chin, speed and power on both hands. That's what made him so dominant, not his skill level imo.

He's level with the other guys imo though.
