He's level with the other guys imo though.
Ooo bball sees SRR as an Emmanuel type?

did well largely due to being a package of physical gifts

In defense Floyd isn’t level with those guys

Floyd is outright better than them in defense

Here’s the intangible these older era guys have. They were certified 15-round fighters

Its the mindset. Floyd would run before he got hit with a punch.

If these other guys could run as well as Floyd, they could
have run and shoot their way to victory

Partially that. He was also very skilled obviously, but I don't watch him and get blown away at his skill level. I'm blown away by his physical gifts.

Duran impresses me with his skill level although he did lose to Benetiz.

That's only a miniscule part of it. Floyd probably had the most versatile defense in boxing history.

Oh so you understand now you dummy

What needs explaining? At 130 Floyd was obviously a good offensive fighter, had every punch in the book, speed, power, timing, accuracy etc

Leonard whilst defensively sound was never a defensive wizard. Had obvious holes there at times.

That’s why I think that. It’s certainly up for debate.
