Is anyone actually surprised Fury-AJ has fallen apart?

Not at all. All the signs for it ****ing up were there but a lot of people chose to ignore it. This is what I posted about this **** up in another thread:

Wow, everyone ****ed up. It ultimately comes down to Fury though, he thought he could bypass that third Wilder fight and either go straight to AJ or fight someone like Kabayel in between. It backfired big time, couldn't get the Kabayel fight over the line and became inactive as a result, delayed the AJ fight from happening and now has to fight Wilder again. If he didn't try to get out of it in December then we'd be talking about the AJ fight but no, Fury's decisions have literally meant that the third Wilder fight got delayed by a year which means everything else gets delayed.

Arum's a clown for telling people that Wilder will get nowhere with the arbitration hearing, Hearn is also an absolute tool for basically telling people the fight is a done deal for about 6 months, pretty much announced the fight a few times and every time Warren would say that nothing's been signed Hearn would counter with an interview basically doubling down that the fight is definitely on. He announced this fight about 3 times last week, this time also giving dates. Everyone was saying that Warren didn't know what was happening but it turns out it was Hearn who had no idea what was going on and was happily running around in his own world completely ignoring and dismissing everything and anything that could jeopardize the fight as 'negativity'. With his foolish fans believing everything he says and calling anyone who brought up the arbitration hearing an 'idiot'. You lot and Hearn were the biggest idiots for thinking it was insignificant.

I'd assume Fury would beat Wilder and AJ would beat Usyk but neither fight is a foregone conclusion to me, AJ-Fury may never take place and the blame should mostly fall on Fury and his team for the dishonest way they move. Kept delaying the Wilder fight talking about 'crowds' until they could have some fans and then they pulled out saying 'it's expired' knowing full well the delays were due to covid. Wilder definitely had a case here but Arum confidently told everyone that he'd get nowhere with it and unfortunately most people, including Hearn believed him.

It’s been obvious since Arum piped up out of blue and started saying the deal was dead in the water after a meeting with the arbitrator that something was up.

He coulda been honest and said it was arbitration, but chose to billy bull **** and roll the dice, cross his fingers and hope he got an easy out.

Arum just played Eddie Hearn so bad. Eddie even introduced him to the Saudis lmaoo. Arum was a great lawyer. He knew he was gonna lose and played Eddie like a fiddle leaving Eddie looking like a blow hard.

Dude Arum is one of the most successful lawyers in US history. He knew what was up. Eddie just introduced him to the golden goose and secured the site free for Wilder vs Fury 3!!!

            Nope.

I actually reckon Hearn knew it/hoped it would too. I always, ALWAYS get su****ious at those who constantly push back deadlines. I also was su****ious when Fury announced the date on the weekend but then neither Hearn or Joshua followed up with a simultaneous announcement. I knew to be sceptical then.

Yet somehow he's the lineal champion, the best in the division, the champion destroyer, the mental health hero... How much more do you need to see? Is anyone starting to contemplate that maybe he's just all the things that you see - someone who pulls out of fights, takes PEDs, breaks contracts, and doesn't defend his belts like a champion should. It's all there right in front of you.

All parties have confirmed there is a contract sitting there waiting to be signed. If he pulls out, he's pulled out. And I say 'duck'.

He hasn't been ordered to fight Wilder. He's been ordered to fight him or pay damages for beach of contract. His choice now.

Fury's team might be disappointed by the outcome, but they won't be completely blindsided. They knew this was a possibility - now we wait to hear what they have to say.
He never pulled out of the rematch with wilder.

the Rematch clause simply expired, And Wilder’s team are blaming Covid as a valid reason why the fight rematch clause should be extended.

You have to ask why Wilder was silent from almost the day he got knocked out until after the clause expired, He spent months and months being silent and never come out and said he wants a rematch.

He doesn’t want to rematch, he just wants this legal thing in place so he can get Stepaside money

Arum literally said it was a dead deal and arbitration was coming up. I believe the exact quote was "Dead in the water."

Even Fury said at one point that he may fight Wilder in the summer. Too many issues were not resolved before in order to get the Fury/AJ fight going. Now if it holds this opens up other opportunities for other fighters to face AJ. There is no telling how their respective bouts will go.

No. We haven’t had an undisputed heavyweight title fight in 22 years. I’m not sure why anyone would be confident it would happen.

He pulled out of an ordered rematch with Wilder. That's a fact.

As for this latest story with the trilogy fight, none of us know the full circumstances or contractual details. But a retired judge does and decided that he should have honoured the rematch.

I agree with your comments about Wilder disappearing from view. But how much evidence against Fury would you need before you stop thinking that he's not responsible. This stuff follows him around.
