Notice he is doing the aged old trying to shut his eye to get the dr to stop it even though his eye wasn't shut. BJS quit,& I hear he faked his surgery & just had a bruise. lmpzYqz.gif
Ummmm? wouldn't go that far... certainly this was damage control but remember Canelo also knew he had broken the orbital socket.

He didn't want to go back out there and who can blame him?? Canelo would have targeted the eye and he would have ended up alot worse. This is just a face saving exercise from Davison

Fine, but don't twist it to suggest that this man was held back from continuing the fight. A fighter who wants to keep going gets off his stool at the very least. A fighter who sincerely wants to keep going speaks up LOUDLY to assert his abililty and interest in continuing. A fighter who strongly desires to continue gets up, screams at his cornermen and pushes his way back to the center of the ring to fight another round. A fighter who needs to continue protests when the fight is waved off. Billy just sat there quiet as a church mouse. However good his reasons were, he plainly DID NOT want to keep fighting. Nobody buys Davison's story.

There was no proof that he was faking an injury in any videos posted on that thread. If you have a video proving it, I could not find it on that thread.

You're right,I didn't mean to say that either, what I'm saying is he made decision to quit,& we haven't seen proof of injury yet,BJS should provide proof if he wants his fans to back him still, after all the things hes said he stands for, which got fans on-board to begin with

Oh... agree with that for sure. His corner probably had a sit down and devised a way to save face for BJ. Also: these days it is super easy, at least in The States, to get your medical records, xrays, etc.

If Davidson Beleives that bjs won the 5 6 7 rounds and was only increasing his momentum, then bjs needs to find a new trainer that is going to either be honest or have more sense and self awareness. Bjs got in a couple of ok pot shots and made canelo miss once or twice, but it was clear from the beginning that bjs was out of canelos league in every aspect and quality. You can’t become élite overnight no matter how confidently a fighter deludes himself.
