and how do you describe cotto for denyying pacman a possible 7th belt?!?!?
there should be no problem if cotto just brushed this issue aside and fyt for the title!!
unless cotto is not sure of winning the fyt........which is showing now!!

firstly.....cotto is averse to paying 150K outta his pocket...too big!
but arum already asured everbody that he will pay all fees.
so what is cotto fussing about???

I don't blame him for trying to earn as much money as possible and that, my friend, is Cotto's Ace in the pocket. Cotto will be fighting for two and half more years (that is what he has stated numerous times) and can keep earning money fight after fight precisely because his fights are exciting and he has a large fan base. Pac's clock is running out. As I stated in a previous post, if Pac walks away (and it will be him not Cotto) he has to face Mosley for less money. Berto brings nothing else to the table except a title and that means it will attract the same people that would watch the Cotto fight anyways minus Cotto's fans.

My prediction is that one way or another Pac will cave, most probably by offering a larger percentage of PPV sales or something of the like for Cotto to acquiesce to put the belt. Either that, or Cotto vacates and the WBO allows Pac the right to gain the belt if he wins. Cotto will not back down believe me.
cotto is ilogical if he vacates his title and go on with the fyt.
cotto will agree to all terms, believe me!!
his pride and principle thrown into the air, again believe me!!

cotto is not afraid to lose his title.
he will even deliver the belt to wbo and write them a resign letter.
but ryt on,...cotto is not confident he will beat manny.
cotto just want to deny manny his 7th belt...
..that's cotto's way of getting back at manny for pushing him(cotto) against the wall!!
cotto is the real ***** *****!" "peeleft:

They are trying to get Cotto very upset because they know very well they went into the cave wolf, now they are very scare to get hurt with the Cotto Lyon.
....and so what is cotto bitching about???
why not put the belt on the line when arum will pay cotto's wbo fee??
is cotto that kind of a "miser"??

the contract is NOT YET SIGNED
            BOTH PARTIES ARE STILL NEGOTIATING!!
arum's fault when he did not include the belt in the fyt!!
manny will be fyting for BELTS
            from here on!!
you don't know facts between fiction.....pigment in cottofans' limited minds..

cotto the lion in his wolf cave is very upset, agitated, angry....is now very nervous!!

manny don't have to fyt anybody...he can rest on his laurels!!
though there a lot of fyters queing up to dance with him...manny is "the mang" now.
he can pick on whoever he wants...although not with the same pluses if he fyts cotto.

I'm not a big fan of Cotto but even I can see that their trying to pimp
him. I negotiate and deal with contracts with companies and people
and I know for a fact that people will try to get as much as possible
without giving up much to the other party and it's not right and Cotto
is doing what he is supposed to be doing and that's taking a stand.
Just because you don't see nothing wrong with it don't mean everyone
else will see the same. This fight started out as a non title fight and
Cotto agreed to the %, weight and was/is ready to go, NOW they want
the title and Cotto is like NO lets do it at 147! Cotto should have some
leverage/say so too...... Right? It's business.
                co-sign.....
and the same thing goes with manny.
he can demand and/or compromise...up to cotto to counter, as what he's doing now.
bottom line.....both parties are still negotiating!!
arum's draft contract is their basis and starting point of discussion!!
it just happens that cotto agreed to all the terms therein...while manny is perusing it.

Arum will pay the fee? I don't buy that from that old money loving *****! Quit hating on Cotto and get real man.

than Manny fought in his last 3 fights. PLUS, Manny two biggest
commercial wins come from beating two guys Floyd Mayweather
Jr beat. Indeed Manny is one hell of a fighter but he shouldn't
                    be trying to pimp Cotto
like Cotto ain't done nothing in the sport.
The difference between Manny and Cotto is the mainstream appeal.
How many people come to Manny's fights from his country to
support him every time he fights in Vegas? How many times
has Cotto fought and had the Garden rocking with the Boricua's
supporting him? Both are doing a lot of good things by repping
their respective countries but Manny should be a lil fair and bend
on certain things Cotto is asking for. The sad thing is that Bob Arum
doesn't even give a f#@K about Cotto that much.
cotto is better off negotitiating with manny.
do you wonder how much concession cotto can get if he is negotiating with floyd instead??

we will see how huge manny's and cotto's fans in vegas come fytnyt!!
new york is well populated by ricans..

Kid, if Pacquiao decided to drop Cotto and negotiate a fight with SSM most probably he'll earn as much as he's getting from fighting Cotto. He'll have a bigger slice of the purse and PPV compared with the Cotto bout (65%-35%).

As you already know, most contenders in the LWW and WW divisions are calling or I might say begging for a chance to fight Pacquiao. Pacquiao as the #1 P4P fighter has the option of choosing the best available fighter that can offer the biggest monetary value to him. Unfortunately, Cotto is not there yet and his best option right know is a fight with Pacquiao. Actually, it's the only option Cotto has to achieve the biggest purse of his professonal career.
