    If cotto & marquez both lose & pac vs fraud jr cant be made? Pac has valero,bradley, mosley, berto, ortiz, campbell, baby bull & anybody else arum gives a phone call to.

    He wont be criticized for any of those match ups b/c he's a smaller man/ career feather weight who already pushing the envelope @ 140.

    Lets flip the script;

    What does fraud jr. do if fight vs pacquiao cant be made?

    what ridiculous catchweight vs another smaller fighter will fraud jr aka welter weight champion will cherry pick?
    I agree about Mayweather needing Pacquiao to justify his status for legacy purposes and not the other way around. Pacquiao has fought Morales, Barrera, Marquez, the list goes on and on. Who has Mayweather beat? An old DLH who nearly won that fight, a weight drained 130 Chico Corrales, Arturo Gatti, and a walking punching bag with arms in Baldomir. This isn't even a contest in resume comparisons, and how anyone can say Floyd is the better P4P fighter as it currently stands is smoking supreme crack pipe.

    The answer to the other question of what will Floyd do without Pacquiao is pretty simple. He would have to fight Sugar Shane at 147, which in reality the ONLY fight in terms of legacy that means anything of signifigance. Cotto is a good name to have as well, but Shane is the Ring champion and his career resume is outstanding. No other victory would get the "legacy" he is so desperate to achieve in validating his own delusions of grandeur. Is Floyd a great fighter? Yes, absolutely he is. But until he beats somebody of the caliber of a Shane Mosley or fights ANYONE he has a high probability of losing to he is NOT the best. Period.

    Thoughts? I'm putting on my fire suit now, I'm sure the *****s are coming out in full force, pun intended.

Pacquiao would slice and dice that ass up. even Roach knows, thats why screw that fight, the winner of Mayweather-Marquez is a way better fight. so what if Pacquiao beat Cotto what does that mean??? He beat a great WW??? NAH, Cotto is good but hes not even the man at 147.
      lol i could see you just started to watch boxing

        There is no unfinishe bizz. Just cuz mosley beat the man to beat Cotto doesnt mean that Cotto's WIN over mosley means nothing.
        it means they need to fight again, unless you really think Cotto is the champ after beating a cupcake in Jennings!! HAHAHA

          Nope, been watching Cotto since wensday night fights. Cotto gets hit way to much to even try to hang with Pacquiao. I just Hope Cotto beats Clottey or his career is in serious trouble, kinda of like JT.

            Then you should know that he wont get a fight with Manny unless he agress to a catchweight , with a 147 weigh-in Cotto will out weigh Pac on the night by 12 to 16 pounds , Roach wont allow that to happen he will milk Cotto down as much as he can , same as Mosley where Roach asked him if he can make 143 for a Pac fight and Mosley said no .

The rematch would also crown a linear welterweight champion. That would give someone like Pac or Mayweather more incentive in fighting Cotto if he would beat Mosley in a rematch.
              Then by that logic nothing that Pac does should count for anything until he fights JMM again, right? lol

                  yeah I did , many of these guys are very ignorant to weight surrounding these elite fighters , but I do see a lot starting to get the idea of whats going on weight wise .
