Of course I disagree. You obviously don't read my posts to closely. I criticize Floyd heavily, and rightly so, but I give him credit when its due. Unfortunetly those times are fewer and farther between since he moved to 147 and started cherry picking.

I'm a Cotto fan as well, but Pacquiao is the legacy fight for Floyd, not Cotto. disagree?
Would Floyd have been a legacy fight for Hopkins had he challenged him at middleweight?

Bottom line....Floyd has left question marks at welterweight that leave his legacy there in question. He has answered all questions against smaller fighters or guys coming up in weight to fight him. Disagree?

      The equation is as follow:
Cotto beat Josua and marquez Floyd then paquiao can go either way, paquiao- marquez or Cotto. seems to me is more money involve in the winner of Marquez- Floyd. if floyd lose, the the triology marquez- paquiao is on, the only problem is that if floyd win over Marquez, Mayweather wants more money, and been said already that will never happen, according to Bob arum. that leave the window open for Cotto- Paquiao., which i beleive will happen sooner or later, paquiao will not retire thrust me, to much money involve. to retire now, and manny knows that.
roach has stated the mayweather fight is more difficult than a cotto fight.

the reason they'd rather fight mayweather than cotto is simple....b/c there's waaaay more money in that fight than a cotto fight.....which is meaningless. less money, plus cotto has been stopped already, so that fight makes no sense. mayweather is unbeaten, p4p king, and each guy will stand to make 20-30 million. that's why they'd prefer mayweather. not b/c cotto is this "monster" you are making him out to be.

Certainly, I don't know what to think. According with a report of Mark Vester dated 05/11/09, the Pacquiao advisers prefer Cotto to face Pacquiao instead of Maywheather.
“Manny should go for Cotto. It’s the wise fight. It’s the better fight,” “For one, he’s a straight-up fighter. He’ll come in. And that’s what Manny wants, someone like Ricky Hatton. I think we have a better chance against Cotto than Mayweather who will run away from Manny inside the ring. Not a beautiful fight."
And now Freddy Roach says that he prefers Mayweather instead of Cotto. Who we're going to believe?

I am getting really tired of all the haters on this site complaining about Mayweather only fighting "small" or "smaller" fighters. The truth is Mayweather has only fought one fighter that was smaller than him at the time of the fight -- Ricky Hatton. And I don't think you should count that one because Hatton fought 41 or his 43 fights (more than 90 percent) at 140 while Mayweather fought 28 of his 38 fights (75 percent) at 130. Every other well-known fighter Mayweather has fought to date (Castille, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir and De La Hoya) were fights in which Mayweather had moved UP in weight. The fight against Marquez will technically be the ONLY fight where he has fought someone who STARTED their careers at a smaller weight than Mayweather. After he takes care of Marquez and Pacquaio, I am sure he will go on to beat Cotto and Mosley. However, the haters on this site will still complain that he didn't fight '"cheatin Margarito" or Paul Williams or Winky Wright or Vladimir Klitschko.

Nobody goes into prize fighting in order to get to the Hall of Fame. They do it to make as much money as they can. If Pacquaio fights Cotto and loses, then he has no chance of getting a fight against Mayweather; and the fight against Mayweather will get Pacquaio three to four times as much money as what he would get figthing Cotto. Uncle Bob is not looking after Pacquaio's interest in trying to make Pacquaio/Cotto. He is looking after his own because he is trying to resign Cotto. Even if Pacquaio gets KO'd by Mayweather, he can still fight Cotto next and make as much money as he would fighting him in his next fight. If you don't believe that, look at Hatton.

If the fights happens right now I think 60-40 would be reasonable for PAC. 65-35 is not reasonable for the former no1 P4P. But I think that could change IF Mayweather "No Cotto" Jr. beats Marquez by domination which i doubt.

                      Fk Cotto

Bob Arum is scared to **** about putting PAC in there against PBF. Just like he was with Cotto. I agree with Freddie, let the best fight the best. That's what the fans want. But what Bob Arum doesn't know is that,,, Cotto is gon get his ass bust by Clottey!!!!! Boxing is becoming more fake than wrestling!!!
