Nobody goes into prize fighting in order to get to the Hall of Fame. They do it to make as much money as they can. If Pacquaio fights Cotto and loses, then he has no chance of getting a fight against Mayweather; and the fight against Mayweather will get Pacquaio three to four times as much money as what he would get figthing Cotto. Uncle Bob is not looking after Pacquaio's interest in trying to make Pacquaio/Cotto. He is looking after his own because he is trying to resign Cotto. Even if Pacquaio gets KO'd by Mayweather, he can still fight Cotto next and make as much money as he would fighting him in his next fight. If you don't believe that, look at Hatton.

exactly, Cottos boxing skill and power will definitely hurt pacquiao early. Pacquiao has never faced a ahrd hitter like Cotto at all, he wouldnt know what to expect which is why it is dangerous for Pacquiao.

Roach says "theres nothing to gain" which really means "Theres too much risk for pacquiaos career".

I disagree and would have to say that Mayweaher would fight tooth and nail to make as much money as he can from a Pacman fight and in the end he couldve fought Cotto without money desputes take the "Lions Share" and possibly win a 7th title and skyrocket his career without Mayweather

Yeah winning 7 titles is a aewsome feet, but beating Mayweather will take him to a whole new level. Cottos good but hes not even the man at 147. Pacquiao can always take that fight later on, Pacquiao-Mayweather is now
