In all honesty, Manny Pacquiao is the face of boxing.

Zombified DLH... sure...
Why do people disregard the fact that manny was basically a 130lb fighter, that DID that to Oscar though...
People act as if Oscar couldn't even walk to the ring... a lot had to do with pacmans in an out strategy and his hand speed... A LOT.Comment

Again: I just provided examples of mayweather's commercial viability.
The reason he (or anyone else) would seek a fighter with a fanbase is obvious: because the purse is shared.
For example, Tony Margarito wanted a fight with mayweather, but TM had just fought ******* Gomez at the Aladdin in a half-empty room. That PPV sold 30K. Yes. Thirty thousand.
Soooo, what is in it for Floyd? Or anyone else? He would essentially be sharing his own income with another fighter for no reason. Just like it benefits you if your wife has a good job. She brings something to the table.
Example: After Zab lost to Baldomir, they reduced his purse from three mil down to one mil. His commercial appeal was reduced.
Another example (because you seem Mexican): If i go and "offer" Oscar Delahoya a fifteen million dollar payday to fight me, what is in it for him? Goldie can make $15 mil fighting ANYONE. He would quickly recognize that I'm just trying to pencil myself in for a payday, while bringing no incrementality.
It's the same as any company that seeks to launch a brand extension. The first analysis is focused around incrementality.
Got that?
You still haven't answered my question.
Here, lets try again.
If Floyd doesn't need an "A" fighter to sell his fights,
then why does he tell potential opponents to get better PPV numbers?
Do you understand what "doesn't need" means?
So, again,
If Floyd doesn't need an "A" fighter to sell his fights,
then why does he tell potential opponents to get better PPV numbers?Comment

It did but I don't put it on the same level as beating a prime DLH. And I don't give Floyd full credit for beating DLH either...Zombified DLH... sure...

He wasn't prime.... but Manny was a 130lb fighter, who destroyed a 154lb fighter at 147.. prime no prime... it DESERVES, SOME credit...Comment

Yeah it does but I'm not putting Pac very high on the all time list just because he beat a limited fighter in Hatton...
A few on here had Pac in the 50's, 60's all time and with this win move him in the top 30...Comment

Where is your criticism of the Mayweather fans who do the exact same thing for the exact same reasons?
Top 30 for beating DLH and Hatton.Comment
