In all honesty, Manny Pacquiao is the face of boxing.

Nah, that doesn't happen to a face of the sport.

Mayweather stans are dwindling by the minute these days.

Since the start of his career and all the way up to his ascension to the top, most of mayweathers fans were either black or boxing purists. That is never going to change, ever.

Last time I have seen so many people talking about a fight was when Lewis fought Tyson. Screw the other guys, Pacquiao is the face of boxing now.
If you really want to honest, he has not passed Mayweather in popularity. I'm a fan of the Manny but let's be real. Floyd has been seen on mainstream tv, latenight shows and when you speak of boxing no matter what the weight class, the name Mayweather would always come up. Go ask your every day joe if they heard of Mayweathwr or Pacman, I bet Floyds name would be the one they know. Pac's popularity has risen but he is not known outside of boxing like Mayweather.

Hard to say, both are known worldwide also. Of course in Manny's country he is but I doubt he is known more worldwide. You guys must not realize Mayweather is popular as hell in the boxing community just like Pac

Agree i think it helps that he's such a great guy. So having the villian vs the bad guy in floyd would be amazing

my friends are not boxing fans. but after hearing me hype this fight for months they decided to come watch it with me. before the fight they were saying too bad theres no good hw anymore, cause while little guys are fun for there speed they cant provide that lights out punch like a hw. one of my friends looked at me after the fight and said no way in hell i ever thought such a little guy could pack such a big punch. my friends all came to the conclusion that we need a keg for pacquiao mayweather and they cant wait. pacman is someone that can appeal to the casual fan.

I don't see what that matters any.

The fact remains, people who have been chosen as the face of the sport,

don't have fights where the fans and celebrities walk out due to boredom or being pissed at not being entertained.

Mayweather wishes he was Manny Pacquiao right now.
