In all honesty, Manny Pacquiao is the face of boxing.

We are the equivalent of the nerds who attend the Star Wars conventions or who line up to see the midnite shows on the first day.

In order to have a mega-event, you need to expand the paradigm to capture the mainstream audience. There is a core audience of 250K to 350K that will purchase most good fights.

Look up Dios' posts. He has posted the PPV history.
And that is why Pacquiao is now a star.

Because he was on the biggest stage and he put on a show. All of those people who watched the fight just because it was a big event are going to come back for more.

First of all, write in a legible way. Like you've been to a decent college. You seem pretty inarticulate, and I question your intelligence.

Secondly, you are saying that Floyd/Oscar and manny/oscar are close? PBF/DLH doubled the MP/DLH nums. 2x. That's your idea of close?

Thirdly, Floyd is 32. He fought most of his career at lightweight and below. The clock is ticking. Smaller guys age faster. The smart thing is to engage in big fights. Consistently. Every boxer is looking for big fights. It makes no sense for Floyd to fight a middling opponent.

So, your hypothesis is that Pacquiao has been a star for the past 48 hours?

Considering that anyone who knows who ODLH is, has to know that it was Manny Pacquiao who made ODLH say NO MAS Manny is ODLH's daddy and soon may be your boy friends daddy if your honey bunny money G@y can get past Manny's sloppy left overs in Marquez.

its called slang dum**** i go to ucf for computer science and that is only one fight were he made twice as much i don't doubt that Mayweather makes more than Manny thats a fact but how many boxers out there make more than Manny PBF/DLH who both promote themselves to a fighter that doesn't do his own promoting is ******ed and there is a reason for Floyd to fight a middling opponent its called ring rust he hasn't fought in over a year that affects a boxer and then he is goin to jump into a big fight i don't doubt that he will win but originally he was looking for a tune up fight

In all honesty, I was still surprised about the number of high-profile celebrities who attended the fight. The Oscar fight elevated Pacquiao onto a whole new level of popularity.

According to the United States Social Security Administration, the most popular baby since May 2nd has been "Manny".
