Robinson left nothing to speculate about, he beat everybody.
If Pac is in the top 40-50 now, then I say a victory over Hatton, PBF, a 147 lineal champ (Cotto, Marg, Mosley) will put him between 8-15. Probably the same level as a Duran...

Pac's win will include against 7 future HOF's
PBF, Hatt, Cotto/Marg/Mosley, MAB (2X), EM (2X), JMM, DLH. 5 lineal champ (flyweight, feather, superfeather, light welter, welter). That is one impressive list, that is he wins his last 3 fights.

How would you rank him if he beats Hatton than drops back to 135 and cleans out that division and retires?

It wont happen.. FR himself told the media that he cant make 135 anymore... And even if is possible, it wont be that significant given that the harder fights would be against 140 lineal champ (Hatton), PBF@ 147, and the lineal 147 champ (Marg/Cotto/Mosley). All 3 fights are harder than any fights in 135, except JMM....

[QUOTE=mikemurni;4660235]Those ratings are the status of EM, MAB, Pac, JMM during that time. If they were shot

I never said "shot" But they damn sure were not in their primes.

, they wouldn't be in the list. And that is not my opinion but of the journalist and experts who comes up with that list and whose words are far more credible than ours..

And what exactly makes their words more "credible"? There are a lot of journalist I don't agree with and if you take their words as if they are written in stone, then that pretty much destroys your credibilty. I just saw a so called "expert" the other day (Harold Letterman) score round 7 for Collazo in the Andre Berto fight. Check it out. That kills your theory about "experts" right there.

I told you in my previous post why EM did not lose so much face after that fight..

Whether he "lost face" or not he was beaten by a second tier fighter. That tells me he was not the best Eric Morales.

JMM,MAB was in their prime. EM was a little past prime but still great and an elite fighter.

P4P ratings are not made by one single boxing expert but a collective vote among respected boxing journalist.. I mean that's the Ring Magazine for godsake, you cant get anymore credible than that. Oh yeah throw out their opinion, and take yours..geeezzz...

You should based EM lost to Raheem on the manner in which he lost. Their styles do not match. Really why does fans always make assumption without even watching the fight??? EM never lost any of his prime in that fight, he was never hurt... Had he fought Raheem 3-4 years back (pre MAB, the so called EM's prime years), he would still lose. It has nothing to do about him being prime or past prime..

Is that a joke or do you just want the captain obvious answer? Not only would he be the FOTD, he'd blow past every fighter since a prime Duran as the best of the last forty or fifty years. Hell, he might even get past Duran.

Cotto said in an interview that if Manny wants a big fight he's available.

He won't beat Hatton, CAN'T beat Mayweather and would get brutally knocked out by Cotto. So stop this. IF, and in the spirit of the thread, IF he would be able to win the lottery 3 times in a row, then yes, he would be the fighter of the decade, arguably already is, and probably a top 30 ATG at least.
