Just to put a stop to some of the comedy, Pac beating Hatton, Cotto and Floyd would not make him the "GOAT." Why? The Goat cant be knocked out by two total bums (young or not, we are talking best that ever fought here) getting beat by an old"ish" Morales, and getting two "wins" in a row against Marquez when half the people thought he lost both times. Mab was past his best (deal with it) as was Morales (deal with it.) You can say "Well Pac wasnt at his best yet" which is true, but that doesnt change the fact that his best wins were against once great fighters who were on the decline. Oscar...well, we all understand what that fight was...now onto the matter of "Fighter of the decade." Would Pac be the best fighter of the decade by beating a past it MAB, past it Morales, "Beating" Marquez 2x, beating an overrrated Diaz, "Oscar", and then beating Hatton and Floyd and Cotto? Actually, yeah he would. If he did that, he would be the fighter of the decade by a long ways. But he cant, and he wont. No matter how many times people quote Freddy Roach and say "Well nobody thought..." Here is the best he can do. Manny CAN beat Ricky (Love ya Rick, but I worry that Pac is all wrong for ya) can put up a good fight against Cotto (but will get KOED barring an act from God) and can try to win a few early rounds against Floyd (Floyd sucks ass early in fights) on his way to losing to Floyd by UD. But Manny will go down as a great fighter, an exciting fighter, and a classy guy.Comment
