The only way division jumping is an attribute of greatness is if the particular fighter cleans out, or dominates, his new division. Anything less than that is failure, IMO, because the move then looks cynical and fraudulant. Hence, Mayweather's problems at WW.

On another note, what is this idea that Oscar had ever planned to fight Tszyu? NEVER. He moved up right after beating Gonzalez - in fact, Tszyu lost to Phillips AFTER Oscar fought Pea. Oscar never fought the best in his division until he reached welter.

Also, Floyd Mayweather being scared of Tszyu is absurd. The ostentatious Floyd is best known for dissing you (see Margarito) if he has no interest in fighting you. I stood right next to him at one of the first press conferences I attended and heard him call Kostya an A-class fighter and one person he'd love to face. Some of you guys need to ask yourself why Tszyu never avenged his loss to Phillips.

And Mosley did this because he didn't want to fight Tszyu?

            Sure.

Yes. Because he wanted to fight Oscar instead.

              Not hard to understand.

I know it's out of character for you but try not to be so dumb. He wanted to fight Oscar. Had nothing to do with Tszyu. Next you'll be telling me was ducking Juan Lazcano to fight Osar, right? I mean, if he moved up and didn't fight them it's because he was scared, right?

I know its completely parallel with you character to pluck things out of absolutely nowhere but.........Show me where I said he was scared.

                  Cheers.

EXCELLENT. I just wanted to make sure you weren't inferring that.

The first 50% of your post most excellently controverts Benny Leonard's assertions about DeLaHoya.

The second 50% of your post misses the mark. Of course, Floyd says he would love to fight Tszyu (what else can he say?). The problem is...he didn't.
