Oscar was robbed much worse against Tito and still managed to take on Mosely asnd Quartey during his stay at 147. By your reasoning, Tito couldn't have been the best at that weight because he didn't fight two of the most dangerous fighters outside of Oscar at welterweight.

Yeah, Oscar beat Castillejo, big deal. But lets throw a parade for Winky's decisive victory over future hall of famer Robert Frazier!! See, works both ways.
Two final questions jabbo, How many prime/close to modern greats has DLH beaten? How many prime/close to modern greats has Winky beaten?

Nobody is trying to argue that Oscar isn't all about the money now. But it doesn't change what he accomplished and the caliber of fighters he fought when he was considered a fighter himself.

Hasn't he been about the money since he lost to Tito?

ODLH V Trinidad was NO robbery please go back and watch the fight again and either turn the commentary down cause we all know what an Oscar fanboy Lampley is,either that do that or watch the SKY version for a more balanced view they were calling it a draw or edging towards Trinidad because of the momentum etc it was a very close fight i dont see how you cannot see this TBH

he lost to Mosley though and he should of lost to Quartey aswell ,Tito beat Whitaker a lot more convincingly that ODLH aswell but Oscar beat Camacho a lot more convincingly than Tito did ,but Oscar got his ears boxed off by Carr before scoring a stoppage at the end of the day its all tit for tat Oscar and Tito were both great WW's

Lets see.........I'll give Winky the Mosely fights and arguably Vargas. I'll give DeLaHoya Quartey, Vargas, Leija, Hernandez and arguably the Trinidad and second Mosely fight. You don't even want to get into their resumes.

No, don't list losses as wins. Winky like it or not lost to Vargas, and DLH lost to Tito and Mosley. But Winky did dominate a still physically close to prime Tito, and Mosley twice. I wouldn't list Quartey, Vargas, or Leija as modern greats, more like good-very good belt holders.

Oscar is calways about money. But he still had the balls to twice fight Mosely, take on and beat the best jr middle and take a shot against Hopkins. The kid had balls.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on this. I've watched this fight a dozen times with and without sound and always have Oscar giving Tito a boxing lesson.

I do agree both were great though.
